  • Patent number: 11731622
Abstract: A method for the adaptation of a driving behavior of a vehicle by a control unit. Measurement data collected by at least one radar sensor and/or LIDAR sensor are received and, by evaluating the received measurement data, at least one obstacle within a scanning range of the radar sensor and/or LIDAR sensor is ascertained. Based on the ascertained obstacle and an installation position of the radar sensor and/or LIDAR sensor, a section of the scanning range concealed by the obstacle is ascertained. An object prediction is generated for the concealed section of the scanning range that a dynamic object may potentially cross a driving lane of the vehicle from the concealed section of the scanning range. A driving behavior of the vehicle is adapted as a function of the situation based on the object prediction. A control unit, a computer program, and a machine-readable storage medium are also described.

  • Publication number: 20230230269
Abstract: Provided are a depth completion method and apparatus using spatial-temporal information. The depth completion apparatus according to the present invention comprises a processor; and a memory connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores program instructions executable by the processor for performing operations comprising receiving an RGB image and a sparse image through a camera and LiDAR, generating a dense first depth map by processing color information of the RGB image through a first branch based on an encoder-decoder, generating a dense second depth map by up-sampling the sparse image through a second branch based on an encoder-decoder, generating a third depth map by fusing the first depth map and the second depth map, and generating a final depth map including a trajectory of a moving object included in an RGB image continuously captured during movement by inputting the third depth map to a convolution long term short memory (LSTM).

  • Patent number: 6812899
Abstract: The present invention provides an antenna arrangement for a portable radio communication device, allowing a flexible design. This is achieved by using axially resilient connection devices (3) that are positioned in apertures (4) in a support structure (2) for an antenna element (1). The present invention further provides a method for performing a flexible design of such an antenna arrangement.

  • Patent number: 4522185
Abstract: This electronic ignition system comprises a unique combination of a high voltage switching regulator to provide substantially higher voltage to the ignition coil and a solid state power switch to produce a constant high energy ignition current of multiple repetitions for a selected duration dependent upon engine speed. The power switch is controlled by a pulser and a window generator which respond to virtually any available trigger source including conventional breaker points and generates an engine speed dependent window signal the duration of which defines the ignition energy characteristics.
