  • Patent number: 11477402
Abstract: To improve the correction accuracy in a solid-state image sensor that performs dark current correction. A solid-state image sensor includes a bias voltage supply unit and a signal processing unit. The bias voltage supply unit supplies a bias voltage of a predetermined value to a light-shielded pixel impervious to light in a period in which a light-shielded pixel signal is output from the light-shielded pixel, and supplies a bias voltage of a value different from the predetermined value to a photosensitive pixel not impervious to light in a period in which a photosensitive pixel signal is output from the photosensitive pixel. The signal processing unit executes processing of removing dark current noise from the photosensitive pixel signal using the light-shielded pixel signal.

  • Patent number: 8600195
Abstract: An image processing device may include detection means for detecting a motion vector of an input image signal which is an input time-series image signal; interpolation means for interpolating, based on the motion vector, a signal between input image signals which is an image signal at an arbitrary time between the input image signal and a previous input image signal immediately preceding the input image signal, the interpolation means for further outputting an interpolated signal; acquisition means for acquiring superimposition information which indicates the position, in the input image signal, of a predetermined image signal to be superimposed on the input image signal; and specification means for specifying, based on the superimposition information, at least one non-interpolation region of the signal between input image signals in which the interpolation is not performed.

  • Publication number: 20100053428
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus and an image processing method, a program, and an image display apparatus that are configured, when a predetermined image signal is superposed on an image signal before interpolation, to enhance the quality of an image signal after interpolation. A MPU 31 accepts a command for starting or ending superposition of a predetermined image signal onto an input image signal. If the command for starting or ending superposition is accepted, a interpolation processing block 72 detects a motion vector of an input image signal with superposition of a predetermined image signal started or ended and interpolates and outputs an interpolation signal on the basis of the motion vector regardless of a total reliability of the motion vector. The present invention is applicable to television receivers, for example.

  • Patent number: 5835162
Abstract: Upon NTSC broadcasting, switches are respectively electrically connected to the N sides and a three-dimensional comb filter is made up of memories, a subtracter, etc., whereby a carrier chrominance signal is separated from a video signal in accordance with a frame-to-frame process. In this case, the video signal is divided into two signals, which are in turn written into the memories. Upon EDTV2 broadcasting, the switches are respectively electrically connected to the E sides and a three-dimensional comb filter is made up of the memory and the subtracter, whereby a composite signal obtained by combining a carrier chrominance signal and a horizontal resolution supplementary signal is separated from the video signal. The switch is electrically connected to the E side and a three-dimensional comb filter is made up of the memory, a subtracter, etc., whereby a horizontal resolution supplementary signal is separated from a composite signal in accordance with a field-to-field process.
