  • Patent number: 5728327
Abstract: The manufacture of moldable concrete products with deferred mold release incorporates molding means bm1 into optimized rotary structures 1, 5, 7, 9, 12 in the form of modular cylinders having at least two faces, the cylinders being equipped and/or associated with means which group together the main work-stations MP, MT, B, D, NH so as to assign a rotary travel of more than 270.degree. and preferably equal to 360.degree. to the curing of the molded material with or without recourse to any means for accelerating the curing.

  • Patent number: 4421710
Abstract: Some self-supporting screens for closing the mold head, some self-supporting separating screens, group positioning devices and group tensioning devices, are used. A series of novel installations for the shock heat treatment, stripping and removal of the products enables by combination with the foregoing means, improvement with respect to known processes, on the one hand of the manufacturing process and on the other hand enables stripping to be brought forward.

  • Patent number: 4290740
Abstract: Plant comprising a rotary drum with a horizontal rotary axis lined, over its outer cylindrical surface with molding means and adapted to pass said molding means during rotation, before various working stations such as concreting, hardening, stripping and core positioning stations. The drum is equipped with beams with a composite profile fixed, notably by welding, longitudinally on the outer periphery of the drum. The beams have a cross-section which has zones adapted to form a roller track parallel to the longitudinal axis of the drum for the rolling and guidance of compacting means for the concrete. It is equipped with fastening means for the molds in a position situated radially outwards with respect to said roller track. It also has sufficient mechanical strength to absorb the major part of the prestressing forces exerted on the cores in the case of manufacturing prestressed concrete elements.

  • Patent number: 4269577
Abstract: A production line for the manufacture of (unreinforced, reinforced or prestressed) concrete comprising concrete casting means, a circuit for hardening it and means for removing the hardened elements. It includes a chain of floats adapted to be moved in a moat of liquid and means for placing the concrete elements which have just been cast, on said floats, which by moving in the moat, transport the concrete elements through the hardening circuit, means being provided to bring back the floats to the concrete casting means. The installation is applied in the manufacture of piles, posts for electric cables, slabs, beams, panels and curbs.

  • Patent number: 4259050
Abstract: The invention relates to an installation for the manufacture of a large range of small and medium products of reinforced and unreinforced concrete. This installation comprises: a series of boards A, an installation B for distributing the concrete, smoothing, and discharging the hardened products from the installation and for cleaning and oiling the boards; a tilting frame C with one or two rows of molds; a device D, for introducing boards onto the frame; some molds or batteries of molds E, provided with concrete-deareating means; and a hardening system F, dismountable and usable either in an overhead installation or in a below-ground installation. This installation ensures, apart from diversification of production, a substantial improvement in the quality of the products and in their cost price.

  • Patent number: 4061454
Abstract: A factory for manufacturing concrete products, in particular prestressed concrete products, comprising a rotary supporting housing of a general cylindrical shape, having a horizontal axis of rotation and conveying moulds, for the concrete products, placed on its internal surface. The rotary housing comprises a circular carrier structure supported by means permitting the rotation of the said carrier, and a structure, resistant to longitudinal stresses, arranged in the interior of the carrier structure. The resistant structure comprises, on the one hand, longitudinal recesses adapted to receive sets of moulds, and, on the other hand, at one longitudinal end means for the attachment of reinforcement wires of the concrete products and, at its other longitudinal end, means for tensioning the reinforcement wires, such that the tensile stresses of these wires are taken up exclusively by the aforesaid resistant structure.

  • Patent number: 4005963
Abstract: An apparatus for continuously producing concrete elements of varied cross-sections which comprises a mold formed from a cover and a shell supported on a tiltable frame. The frame is capable of orienting the mold vertically to allow the elements to be cast and then rotating to the horizontal to separate the shell from the casting and the cover. The apparatus further contains a heating tunnel to harden the casting and a carriage with a pushing member for separating the covers from the finished elements. A guide rail is provided to reinsert the covers into the mold.
