    Abstract: The present invention relates to an osteoinductive coating for use in dental implants, which can be obtained using a sol-gel process from methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMOS) as a silicon base precursor, ethyl tetraorthosilicate (TEOS) as a hydrophilic silicon precursor and at least one silicon precursor selected from glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane and aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. The invention also relates to the method for obtaining said coating and to the use thereof in dental implants.
