  • Publication number: 20150338973
Abstract: A ladder program display device includes: a display-direction determining unit that determines whether a ladder program is caused to be displayed in a display direction that is vertically displayed writing or horizontally displayed writing; and a display unit that displays the ladder program vertically or horizontally in accordance with an instruction from the display-direction determining unit, wherein the display-direction determining unit compares how a ladder program is displayed in a case of vertically displayed writing and how a ladder program is displayed in a case of horizontally displayed writing for each orientation of the display unit that is a portrait-oriented state or a landscape-oriented state, selects a display direction in accordance with the orientation based on a comparison result, and instructs the display unit to display a ladder program in selected display direction.

  • Publication number: 20130222220
Abstract: An electro-optical device is configured to be capable of using a region of a gate line drive circuit efficiently and preventing rising speed of a gate line selection signal from decreasing (rising delay), and a shift register circuit is composed of a single conductivity type transistor which is suitable for the device. The gate line drive circuit including an odd driver to drive odd rows of a plurality of gate lines, and an even driver to drive even rows thereof. Each unit shift register in the odd and even drivers receives a selection signal in the second previous row and activates its own selection signal two horizontal periods later. A start pulse of the even driver is delayed in phase by one horizontal period with respect to a start pulse of the odd driver.

  • Publication number: 20130208350
Abstract: An optical semiconductor device includes: semiconductor lasers; a wave coupling section multiplexing light output by the semiconductor lasers; an optical amplifying section amplifying output light of the wave coupling section; a first optical waveguide optically connecting respective semiconductor lasers to the wave coupling section; a second optical waveguide optically connecting the wave coupling section to the optical amplifying section; a third optical waveguide optically connected to an output of the optical amplifying section; and a phase regulator located in at least one of the first, second, and third optical waveguides, and regulating phase of reflected light that is reflected at a reflecting point in the optical semiconductor device and that returns to the semiconductor lasers. The phase regulator adjusts the phase of the reflected light to decrease line width of the light output by the semiconductor lasers.

  • Publication number: 20130162535
Abstract: When a vehicle navigation system is manipulated by taking pictures of a user hand motion and gesture with a camera, as the number of apparatuses and operational objects increases, the associated hand shapes and hand motions increase, thus causing a complex manipulation for a user. Furthermore, in detecting a hand with the camera, when the image of a face having color tone information similar to that of a hand appears in an image taken with a camera, or outside light rays such as sun rays or illumination rays vary, detection accuracy is reduced. To overcome such problems, a manipulation input device is provided that includes a limited hand manipulation determination unit and a menu representation unit, whereby a simple manipulation can be achieved and manipulation can accurately be determined. In addition, detection accuracy can be improved by a unit that selects a single result from results determined by a plurality of determination units, based on images taken with a plurality of cameras.

  • Publication number: 20130030551
Abstract: Provided is a control system capable of reducing cost while securing reliability of original processing of a microcomputer. An engine control device and a meter control device each store a control amount calculating procedure for calculating a control amount regarding a significant control to be performed on the control target of the engine control device. The engine control device compares a control amount regarding the significant control calculated by the engine control device, and a control amount regarding the significant control calculated by the meter control device, to thereby control the control target of the engine control device based on a result of the comparison.
