  • Patent number: 5956128
Abstract: An enlargement lens is moved to a retracted position by driving a lens moving deck, and temporarily transferred onto a lens storing deck. After the lens moving deck is returned to its initial position, the enlargement lens is rotatably supported on support rails and rotated about its rotatable shaft to expose a lens surface to the outside for the cleaning. Accordingly, the enlargement lens can easily be cleaned.

  • Patent number: 5905565
Abstract: A photographic exposure apparatus includes an exposure lens, a lens carriage having a light shield region and a lens mount region, and a device to move the lens carriage selectively to a position with the lens extending across an axis of exposure light. A first shutter controls the exposure light. A second shutter prevents the exposure to scattered light. A mechanical linking device is responsive to the movement of the lens carriage to close and open the second shutter. When the lens on the lens carriage is dislocated from the axis of exposure light in a standby mode, the mechanical linking device closes the second shutter to interrupt scattered light. When the lens extends across the axis of exposure light in an exposure mode, the mechanical linking device opens the second shutter.

  • Patent number: 5786909
Abstract: A photographic printing apparatus including a lens controlled to be positioned at a printing position, immediately adjacent a film negative, during photographic printing operation of the apparatus and at a normal position, displaced from the film negative, during other operations of the apparatus. Positioning the lens at the normal position, displaced from the film negative, enables the lens to be more easily protected and adjusted. The apparatus further includes a sample print detector apparatus comprising a CCD camera for capturing the sample print for display on a video monitor with a print position recognizing cursor. Key-subject points are specified with the cursor and mismatch between the key-subject points is determined in order to provide correction of filming-position. A rotating mechanism is also provided for rotating a negative mask member, lens member and exposure station by an identical angle of rotation to obtain a predetermined angle of exposure.

  • Patent number: 5729330
Abstract: A magnet is provided on either a negative film mask or a negative film mask table of a negative film mask apparatus, and a magnetic material is provided on the other of these. When the negative film mask in which a negative film has been loaded is placed on the negative film mask table, the negative film mask is held in place by a magnetic force. The negative film mask apparatus is provided with a stopper. The stopper is adapted to press a closely-contacting member against a sliding surface of the negative film mask table when necessary, thereby preventing the negative film mask from sliding. The closely-contacting member is made of a material such as rubber so that it can closely contact a sliding surface of the negative film mask table. Further, a magnetic member is included in the stopper. The stopper generates a large frictional force utilizing pressing force and magnetic force.

  • Patent number: 5694636
Abstract: A photographic processing apparatus includes a main drive roller mechanism for transporting a photosensitive material in forward and reverse transport directions along a transport passage. The apparatus also includes forward and reverse drive roller mechanisms for assisting the main drive roller mechanism. The forward and reverse drive roller mechanisms are disposed upstream of the main drive roller mechanism relative to the forward transport direction. At least the forward and reverse drive roller mechanisms are supplied with power by a common drive source. The forward drive roller mechanism includes a first one-way clutch mechanism for restricting the rotational force supplied from the drive source when the photosensitive material is transported reversely. The reverse drive roller mechanism includes a second one-way clutch mechanism for restricting the rotational force supplied from the drive source when the photosensitive material is transported forwardly.

  • Patent number: 5646714
Abstract: A lens supporting assembly for use in a photoprinting machine can position a varifocal lens with high accuracy over a long period time. A lens plate carrying a varifocal lens has bent portions along both side edges and is formed with a plurality of positioning holes. A lens support table has positioning pins adapted to be engaged in the positioning holes. It is further provided with first magnets for attracting the bottom of the lens plate and a second magnet for attracting one of the bent portions. By lowering the lens plate onto the lens support table, the positioning pins engage in the positioning holes, so that the varifocal lens can be set in position with high accuracy. In this state, the first magnets attract the bottom of the lens plate, while the second magnet attracts the bent portion, so that the varifocal lens can be stably held in position.

  • Patent number: 5500712
Abstract: A negative detection device comprising the likes of a CCD camera and line sensors is incorporated in a 3D photographic printing apparatus in which a lenticular sheet is used. The negative detection device measures the positional shift of the key subject of the 2D negative. If the key subject shift exceeds a predetermined threshold value, a correction is introduced to regulate the spacial parallax of a background object. If the key subject shift is less than a predetermined threshold value a correction is introduced to regulate the spacial parallax of a foreground object. Exposure is performed after positional adjustments are made.

  • Patent number: 5473411
Abstract: The lens moving mechanism of a printing/developing apparatus has a pulse motor for moving the holding member of the exchangeable lens in the directions X and Y to finely adjust the position of the lens. The lens moving mechanism is controlled by a computer. The movement and position of the lens are specified by inputting numeric values, thus adjusting the position freely. The specified position of the lens is stored as channel data corresponding to each print channel.

  • Patent number: 5400096
Abstract: Handling of emulsion surfaces of both 3D and conventional photographs in the cases of development and drying processes is made possible by the following providing apparatus including a mechanism for selection of emulsion surface or selective reversal of the photographic paper. The difference in the processing time of 3D and conventional photography is dealt with by switching photographic paper conveying routes in the development section when processed such as development, bleach fixing and stabilizing processes take place. Printing of 3D photography is dealt with by making movable either both an exposure station and a lens or just the lens alone. Furthermore, switching is provided between respective lenses for conventional and 3D photographic printing. A suction type exposure station may be used, and may employ a mechanism to control an adhesive force applied to a photographic paper in the conventional and 3D photography.
