  • Patent number: 7745137
Abstract: It is intended to provide a means of diagnosing myocardial infarction which shows a high accuracy and a high predictability. The risk of myocardial infarction is diagnosed by a method comprising the following steps: (i) the step of analyzing 2 or more polymorphisms among 10 gene polymorphisms or 5 gene polymorphisms proved as relating to myocardial infarction; (ii) the step of determining the genotype of a nucleic acid sample based on the polymorphism data obtained in the above step; and (iii) the step of determining the genetic risk of myocardial infarction from the genotype thus obtained.

  • Patent number: 7645572
Abstract: It is intended to provide a means of diagnosing genetic risk of restenosis after coronary angioplasty which shows a high accuracy and a high estimation ratio. The risk of restenosis after coronary angioplasty is diagnosed by a method comprising the following steps: (i) the step of analyzing 2 or more polymorphisms among 6 gene polymorphisms proved as relating to restenosis after balloon expansion or 5 gene polymorphisms proved as relating to restenosis after stent insertion; (ii) the step of determining the genotype of a nucleic acid sample based on the polymorphism data obtained in the above step; and (iii) the step of determining the genetic risk of restenosis after coronary angioplasty form the genotype thus determined.

  • Patent number: 7572576
Abstract: It is intended to provide a means of predicting genetic risk for hypertension at a high accuracy and high prediction possibility. Namely, risk for hypertension is predicted by a method involving the following steps: (i) the step of analyzing two or more polymorphisms selected from among 4 gene polymorphisms having been revealed as relating to hypertension; (ii) the step of determining the genotype of a nucleic acid sample based on the polymorphism data obtained in the above step; and (iii) the step of predicting the genetic risk for hypertension from the genotype thus determined.
