  • Patent number: 8141607
Abstract: An object is to provide an optical component lens assembling apparatus which is capable of automating the assembly of an optical component having a minute lens and an optical fiber. This apparatus includes: a fiber block fixing device 20 that fixes in position a fiber block 13 on which an optical fiber 11 is provided; a lens grasping device 21 for grasping the outer peripheral side surface of a lens 12 supplied to a lens supply position; an adhesive applying device 22; a lens moving device 23 for placing the one end surface of the lens 12, to which the adhesive has been applied, at a predetermined position of the fiber block 13; and an optical axis alignment state detecting device 24 for detecting the optical axis alignment state of the optical fiber 11 and the lens 12.

  • Patent number: 7484244
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus, a method, and a system for virus detection which can find even an unknown virus easily with no OS dependency. To achieve the foregoing object, the present invention provides a virus detection apparatus including an inspection computer to be connected to a mail server. The inspection computer includes file opening means for opening an attachment of e-mail transferred from said mail server, an I/O port for establishing interface connection with a PC, the PC being connected to the inspection computer to send and receive e-mail to/from the mail server through the inspection computer, virus inspecting means for detecting data of the attachment opened by said file opening means for access to said I/O port to inspect virus invasion, and warning means for outputting a warning signal from the virus inspecting means when access to the I/O port is detected.

  • Publication number: 20080254959
Abstract: A universal head changes the orientation of a tool freely and machines a workpiece with the tool in the changed orientation. The universal head comprises a universal head body, for swiveling movement, including a swinging unit and an attachment detachably mounted on the swinging unit with a rotating tool removably mounted on the attachment. The universal head has, and simultaneously offers, the advantages of both a universal head, which allows the tool to change its orientation freely for machining a workpiece, and an attachment which allows the tool to be brought closely to the workpiece for machining the workpiece. The universal head does not require a process of installing itself on and removing itself from a universal head support.

  • Patent number: 7137180
Abstract: A turret for a machine tool is provided with: a turret body; a swiveling drum on which a tool holder for holding the rotating tool is mountable; a swiveling and indexing drive portion for swiveling the swiveling drum with a swiveling and indexing motor and for indexing any desired rotating tool; and a rotational driving motor, having a rotating shaft directed to an index position, incorporated into the swiveling drum and supported to the turret body. Under the condition that the rotating tool is indexed, a holder shaft of the tool holder of the rotating tool and the rotating shaft are coupled directly with each other and thereby the rotating tool is rotated by the rotational driving motor. Thus, when the rotating tool is drivingly rotated, the power transmission efficiency for rotational drive is high to thereby make it possible to reduce the heat generation, vibration and noise.
