  • Patent number: 6094647
Abstract: A method for making document information searches. In performing a document search with respect to the desired key word, two stages of presearch are carried out. In a first stage of presearch, a character component table in which an existence of character codes for every document is stated with respect to all the character codes contained in the group of document text data of stored documents is generated, and the character component table is searched for all the character strings constituting a desiredly designated search subject key word to thereby extract all the documents each containing all the character codes constituting the search subject key word. In a second stage of presearch, contracted text data for every document in which adjuncts and duplication of repeatedly stated words contained in advance in the text data are eliminated is generated, and the documents each containing the search subject key words by word are extracted from the documents extracted by the first presearch.

  • Patent number: 5519857
Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing a document information search to uncover specified text data containing a given search subject key word from a group of document text data stored in a memory. In the document information search method, two stages of presearch are carried out to perform the document search with respect to a desired subject key word. In a first stage of presearch, a character component table is generated in which the existence of character codes for every document is set forth with respect to all the character codes contained in the group of document text data of stored documents. The character component table is searched for all the character codes comprising a designated search subject key word to thereby extract all documents containing all the character codes comprising the search subject key word. Further, in the presearch step, all texts without the possibility of containing the search subject key word are eliminated.

  • Patent number: 5168533
Abstract: A method and apparatus for making document information search and a magnetic disk unit to be used for realizing the method and apparatus. In the document information search method, in performing document search with respect to a desired subject key word, two stages of presearch are carried out. In a first stage of presearch (step 402), a character component table (500) in which existence of character codes for every document is stated with respect to all the character codes contained in the group of document text data of stored documents is generated, and the character component table is searched for all the character codes constituting a desiredly designated search subject key word to thereby extract all the documents each containing all the character codes constituting the search subject key word.

  • Patent number: 4943729
Abstract: An electron beam lithography system having a contour resolving circuit for resolving original pattern data which is transferred from a host computer into contour portion pattern data and inner portion pattern data in accordance with the designated dimension, for adding flag data to enable the contour portion pattern data and the inner portion pattern data to be discriminated to the resolved pattern data, and for outputting the resolved pattern data with the flag data. By adding the flag data, the contour portion pattern data and inner portion pattern data can be easily discriminated. The operation to change the electron beam irradiation dose in accordance with the contour portion pattern and inner portion pattern can be fairly easily executed. A pattern can be drawn at a high accuracy while preventing a deformation of the drawn figure due to the proximity effect. A data processing amount in the computer can be reduced. A data transfer amount from the host computer can be also reduced.

  • Patent number: 4829444
Abstract: A charged particle beam lithography system has a high-throughput and inexpensive system configuration. The system configuration is constituted by a plurality of charged particle optical systems each adapted to focus and deflect a beam of charged particles and irradiate the beam onto a specimen so that the beam draws a desired pattern on the specimen, a plurality of deflection distortion correcting circuits each associated with each of the charged particle optical systems for correcting a deflection distortion of each charged particle optical system, and a common pattern data control circuit for supplying data of a pattern to be drawn to each of the plurality of deflection distortion correcting circuits.

  • Patent number: 4626838
Abstract: An apparatus for filling an interior of a shape to be displayed on a raster scan CRT which reads out a refresh memory. The apparatus includes a memory for storing information of starting points and ending points for filling. The write of a filling color code into the refresh memory is initiated and terminates in response to the filling starting point and the filling ending point, respectively, but inhibited at its memory locations on the contour of the shape. The direction of the filling is perpendicular to the raster scanning of the CRT.

  • Patent number: 4580236
Abstract: A graphic display apparatus for generating a vector comprises registers for storing a value R of a vector discrimination, a positive increment P and a negative increment N, and flip-flops for storing magnitude information of .DELTA.X, .DELTA.Y, and .DELTA.X and .DELTA.Y. An address counter of a refresh memory is counted up or down in accordance with the contents of those flip-flops. A control circuit for updating the value R of the vector discrimination is also provided, so that the vector can be generated at a high speed. The registers and the flip-flops are constructed in two stages so that data for generating the next vector can be prepared while the current vector is generated.
