  • Publication number: 20110185350
Abstract: A shared-program updating system for updating a shared program that is loaded in a memory and is dynamically linked to and shared by other programs, includes an update processing unit that updates a target shared program, which is shared by the other programs, and which is to be updated. The update processing unit includes 1) an updating access control section that directs each of a plurality of using programs, serving as the other programs that access the target shared program, to stop accessing the target shared program and, after the target shared program is updated, allows the using program to resume accessing the target shared program, and 2) an updating section that updates the target shared program after the using program has stopped accessing the target shared program.

  • Patent number: 7873470
Abstract: A map moving apparatus capable of performing desired map movement by a simple input operation without requiring a continuous operation by a user in moving a map screen display region is disclosed. An operated direction, an operated position, an operated speed and the like are detected from an input operation that a user performs on the map screen display region, and a map screen display region input shape recognizing section recognizes an input shape. A polygon shape identifying section extracts data having substantially the same shape as the recognized input shape from polygon data in map display data by using a matching method. When data having substantially the same shape exists, a type of the polygon is identified. In a movement mode selecting section, the movement of a screen map reverses direction when it reaches an end portion in the case where the polygon type is a linear shape, and the movement circulates to continue movement of the map screen where the type is a ring shape with no end portion.

  • Patent number: 5900859
Abstract: Desired switch images are freely shifted and grouped by the operator, so that the switch images can be superimposed to be displayed. A plurality of layers arranged from the lowest layer to the highest layer are provided for the respective switch images. The layer numbers and the switch image data of the switch images corresponding to the respective layer numbers are managed. If switch images are superimposed on each other, the higher-layer switch image is displayed on the lower-layer switch image on the display screen. If a shifted switch image is not superimposed on any of the previously-superimposed images, the layer numbers of all of the switch images higher than the layer number of the shifted switch image are subtracted by one, and also, the layer number of the shifted switch image is set to be the highest number. Then, the shifted switch image is written into the corresponding zone of the screen memory, so that the overall shifted switch image can be displayed on the frontmost position of the screen.
