  • Publication number: 20120024866
Abstract: Provided is a toroidal pressure vessel having extremely high pressure resistance. Laminating latitudinal reinforcing fiber layers (32) enables to improve a strength in a latitudinal direction of a pressure vessel (1). Moreover, putting reinforcing fibers (32a) constituting those laminated latitudinal reinforcing fiber layers (32) in continuity enables to further improve the strength in the latitudinal direction of the pressure vessel (1), for example compared with a case where the reinforcing fibers are divided for each layer.

  • Patent number: 7908866
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a gas turbine combustor with improved fatigue resistance of a combustor. It is possible to intentionally reduce a stiffness of each of flanges of upper and lower walls of an end portion (outlet) of the tail pipe of the gas turbine combustor. It is possible to reduce a stiff difference between the upper and lower walls of the end portion (outlet) of the tail pipe section and side walls. Thus, it is possible to reduce compulsion deformation caused due to thermal stress generated in the end portion (outlet) of the tail pipe section on the operation of the conventional gas turbine combustor, and to reduce high stress easy to generate in the side plate. As a result, the gas turbine combustor with high fatigue resistance can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20100192457
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a liquefied fuel oil using biomass as a feedstock, in which a relatively inexpensive liquefaction apparatus is used; a good balance is maintained between the liquefaction of water-insoluble lignin and the liquefaction of water-soluble cellulose to achieve a high yield of the liquefied fuel oil based on the biomass solids content; and the amount of ash derived from an alkali catalyst and the like is low. The method for producing a liquefied fuel oil using biomass as a feedstock is characterized by adding, to biomass comprising lignocellulose, a solvent comprising an organic solvent and having a moisture content adjusted to 10 to 25 wt %, including moisture contained in the biomass, and liquefying the biomass at a temperature of 250 to 350° C.

  • Publication number: 20100154706
Abstract: A voltage value detected at the time of filling the liquid changes in accordance with viscosity. The voltage value is used as an indicator of the viscosity of the liquid at the time of a returning operation. Specifically, when the voltage value acquired at the filling time is low, the viscosity is determined as relatively high at the time of the returning operation, and a returning threshold value Th1 is set to a relatively high value. In concrete, the filling voltage is updated each time a filling operation is performed, and as the value of the filling voltage which is referred to at the time of the returning operation, the value which is acquired in the immediately preceding filling operation is used. Thereby, even when the liquid has relatively high viscosity, completion of the returning operation can be detected without increasing the time required before completion of the returning operation.
