  • Patent number: 6080484
Abstract: Provided is a heat-sensitive stencil sheet comprising an ink-impermeable thermoplastic film and a porous substrate laminated to the film, characterized in that the porous substrate is a screen gauze which is made of synthetic fibers having a fiber diameter of 25-60 .mu.m and has a mesh number of 160-190 or 210-290. The screen gauze may be subjected to calendering.

  • Patent number: 6025066
Abstract: The present invention provides a stencil sheet roll formed by winding up a stencil sheet to form a roll, the sheet including a thermoplastic resin film and a porous support laminated thereto, wherein the compression elastic modulus of the sheet is not less than 32 kg/cm.sup.2. The invention also provides a stencil sheet roll formed by winding up a stencil sheet to form a roll, the sheet including a thermoplastic resin film and a porous support laminated thereto and having been subjected to calender treatment. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a stencil sheet roll comprising laminating a thermoplastic resin film to a porous support to form a stencil sheet, subjecting the stencil sheet to calender treatment, and winding up the calender-treated stencil sheet to form a roll.

  • Patent number: 5373785
Abstract: A mimeographic transfer printing machine includes a stencil support drum for supporting a stencil, an ink supply device for forcing ink through the stencil supported on the stencil support drum, an ink receiving transfer drum to which the ink forced out from the stencil is to be transferred, and a sheet support device for supporting a printing sheet to which the ink on the ink receiving transfer drum is to be transferred. The stencil support drum has a slightly larger diameter than the transfer drum so that the circumferential speed of the stencil support drum is greater than that of the transfer drum to provide to the stencil a tension acting in a direction opposite to the rotation of the stencil support drum.

  • Patent number: 5245932
Abstract: A heat-sensitive stencil master sheet having good perforation properties, having prevented reduction in the resolution and setting-off of ink to the surface of printed matters and affording a good printed image is provided, which sheet is prepared by laminating a thermoplastic resin film on a permeable sheet of fibers wherein the sum of the clearance areas surrounded by fibers of the sheet same as or less than the area sought by a product of the primary scanning pitch of the thermal head of a heat-sensitive stencil printing device to be used, by the secondary scanning pitch thereof in the advancing direction of the sheet occupies 80% or more of the total of the clearance areas of the sheet.
