  • Patent number: 8819174
Abstract: Provided is an information processing system that reflects a processing load of the virtual machine actually running in one server, and reproduces the processing load generated in the case where this virtual machine is run in the other server. An information processing system (1000) includes a server A(100) and a server B(200) that can communicate with each other through a network (500). The server A(100) runs a virtual machine (123), and transmits, to the server B(200), load information indicative of a processing load generated in the server A(100) as a result of running the virtual machine (123) when the virtual machine (123) is run. The server B(200) generates the processing load on the basis of the load information received from the server A(100).

  • Publication number: 20100213230
Abstract: To provide a film dispenser case which allows a cutting member to be easily, safely, and completely separated from a box, and a case with the film. A film dispenser case 10 comprises a box body 12, a rectangular lid board, a cover lid piece and a cutting member. The box body 12 can contain a film winding body 1 which is formed of film 2 being wound. The box body 12 has a rectangular bottom board 14, a front board 16, a rear board 18 and two side boards 20. The box body 12 opens one face 26. The lid board 30 has a hinge side 60 and a folded side 62 opposed to the hinge side. The lid board 30 connects to the rear board on the hinge side to be rotatable about the hinge side, and covers the face opened. The cover lid piece 32 connects to the lid board on the folded side. The cover lid piece is formed into a substantially rectangular shape by the folded side, a front end edge side 64 opposed to the folded side, and two lateral sides 66. The cutting member 50 is for cutting the film.

  • Publication number: 20100030877
Abstract: By using resource information of a physical server and a virtual server and capacity information of the physical server, a virtual server system and a physical server selecting method extract a physical server in which the utilization rate of resources is more than a high load threshold value or lower than a low load threshold value; with respect to moving candidates comprised of all combinations of a plurality of operating virtual servers in the extracted physical servers and physical servers to where the virtual servers move, seek an evaluation value of an index to level the utilization rate of resources for each server after virtual servers move; determine virtual servers are to be moved, original physical servers and destination physical servers to where virtual servers are to be moved in accordance with the evaluation value; and move the determined virtual servers to the destination physical servers.

  • Patent number: 5699058
Abstract: An absolute encoder is provided with a movable member, which may be a disc, a photodetector and a processing circuit. The movable member has a plurality of tracks T arranged from higher to lower orders, each track having a bright and dark pattern. The photodetectors A1-A4 receive a light through the bright and dark patterns to output triangular detection signals A1-A4 associated with the track T. The processing circuit processes the detection signals A1-A4 to produce bit signals P1-P3 which indicate a position of the movable member. The processing circuit is provided with an input unit 1, a comparator unit 2 and a logic unit 3. The input unit 1 receives the detection signals A1-A4 for producing a plurality of triangular wave signals having the same period but different phases. The comparator unit 2 comparatively processes the triangular wave signals with each other to produce a plurality of rectangular wave signals having different phases.

  • Patent number: 5307496
Abstract: Resources possessed by a computer are registered in a resource table. A resource supply judging portion, in answer to a resource utilization request generated in its own computer or the computer in the preceding stage, judges whether or not it is possible to supply the resource from its own computer by reference to the resource table. When the resource is judged suppliable in the judgment, a resource supplier brings the corresponding resource into a utilizable state. A utilization request transmitter, when the resource was judged unsuppliable, transmits the resource utilization request to the computer in the following stage and, at the same time, sets up a resource supply path. With the described arrangement, utilization of a resource of another computer is made possible without having resources managed by a plurality of computers in a centralized manner.
