  • Patent number: 10803801
Abstract: An image display device includes: a light source emitting laser light; a screen on which an image is drawn by being two-dimensionally scanned by the laser light; a scanner causing the laser light to scan the screen; a light detector detecting a light amount of the laser light emitted from the light source; and a controller controlling the light source by changing a current value to drive the light source in response to a target light amount. The controller obtains a detection signal when driving the light source at a plurality of current setting values from the light detector, and corrects the current value with respect to the target light amount according to an arithmetic operation configured to suppress a difference between an output characteristic of the light source guessed by the obtained detection signal and a reference output characteristic.

  • Patent number: 8742360
Abstract: Plural camera heads are each placed in a position capable of detection of radiation emitted from a radiation source. Compton cones obtained from the detection data output from each of the plural camera heads are projected onto three-dimensional space and an image based on the radiation source is reconstructed. In addition, projected images from projecting Compton cones obtained from the detection data output from each camera head onto two-dimensional planes are also employed for determining a three-dimensional space excluding regions where the radiation source is not present. Reconstruction of images based on the radiation source is then performed within the determined three-dimensional space.

  • Patent number: 8368874
Abstract: A beam irradiation device includes: a laser light source for emitting laser light; an actuator which scans a targeted area with the laser light; a servo optical system which changes a propagating direction of servo light in response to driving of the actuator; a photodetector which receives the servo light to output a signal depending on a light receiving position of the servo light; an actuator controlling section which controls the actuator based on the signal to be outputted from the photodetector; and a laser controlling section which controls the laser light source based on the signal to be outputted from the photodetector. The laser controlling section controls the laser light source to emit the laser light in a pulse manner at a timing when the light receiving position of the servo light coincides with a predetermined targeted position.

  • Patent number: 8164078
Abstract: A beam irradiation device includes a photodetector which receives servo light; a signal processing section which generates a position detection signal based on a detection signal from the photodetector; and a control section which controls the laser light source and the actuator for beam scanning based on the position detection signal. The signal processing section performs a sampling operation with respect to the detection signal from the photodetector at two consecutive sampling timings. The signal processing section includes an A/D converting section which converts a difference between two sampling values obtained by the sampling operation into a digital signal, and a computing section which computes the position detection signal based on the digital signal from the A/D converting section.
