  • Patent number: 4993616
Abstract: The present invention is an improvement in a staple sheet cartridge for an automatic stapler where sheets of staples are delivered to the forming and driving section of the stapler by a conveyor belt. A retaining protrusion is formed on a guide member such that contact area of, and perpendicular force on the staple sheet are maximized without auxiliary magnetic means, allowing smooth, positive and consistent delivery of the staple sheets to the forming and driving section of the stapler.

  • Patent number: 4844319
Abstract: A stapler in which staple legs extending through the material to be bound by more than a given length are cut by cooperation between a movable and fixed cutting member. The movable member is moved in a direction orthogonal to the penetrating direction of the staple legs by rotation of a cam which also causes a driver to drive the staple through the material and also clinches the cut staple legs.

  • Patent number: 4623082
Abstract: An electronic stapler suitable to accommodate staples in the form of staple sheets, in which a predetermined number of unformed staple elements are connected adjacent to one another, and a number of these staple sheets are stacked and accommodated in a generally rectangular cartridge, which is placed above the staple sheet feed path of the stapler. The stapler includes a former-driver unit and a power source for driving the former and the driver is provided by a small-sized electric motor which requires no instantaneous high consumption of electric current and generates no impact operation sound and noise, and the clinching operation of one cycle is effected by one controlled rotation of a rotating drive shaft having a speed reduced from the rotational output of the electric motor.
