Accordingly, for an exemplary case of structural modification of a unit system used at a shop, a new layout of the frame units therefore may readily and preliminarily be examined, and also work load of the modification of layout may preliminarily and readily be confirmed. A data processing device, configured to assist efficient structural modification of the unit system formed based on an arbitrary combination of a plurality of types of unit components, is provided.
