    Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating relevance prediction-based ranking and presentation of documents for intelligent searching in cloud computing environments in database systems according to one embodiment. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method includes receiving a query, predicting relevance of documents associated with the query based on content of the query and historical user expectations, where the relevance is predicted based on comparison of a first relevance prediction with a second relevance prediction. The method may further include ranking the documents based on the predicted relevance, where the documents are sorted based on the ranking, and communicating, in response to the query, the ranked and sorted documents to a computing device over a communication network.

The difficulty of filling and compacting the sand in these chambers can be controlled using factors such as geometry of each of the chambers and direction of the fill and compaction of sand.

    Abstract: This invention describes a cloud-based architecture that orchestrates the detection and dissemination of highly-dynamic, real-time, and fine-grained TV white space information to improve spectrum information used for White Space Devices (WSDs). Wasted spectrum opportunities were first identified, both temporal and spatial, due to the current approach of white spaces detection. This invention introduces a next generation of geo-location databases capable of tracking the state of the relatively static TV transmitters and the highly dynamic TV receivers. A quantitative evaluation of the potential gain in white space availability for large scale deployments of this novel architecture demonstrated significant improvement in the availability of white spaces.

The support may comprise a frame straddling a mold production line between the mold machine and the pour station. When the production line is stopped, the measurement sensors or plates are extended to contact opposing sides of a mold and determine electrical characteristics of the mold, including capacitance and inductance. By comparing the electrical characteristics of the mold to the electrical characteristics of recently tested molds in the production line, a determination can be made whether the mold should be used at the pour station.

The configuration allows for a single aperture system capable of operating in both the infrared and millimeter bands. In its simplest design, the message board includes two surfaces rotatable around a single axis. The first surface includes a set of messages arranged on its front face in a predefined pattern. The second surface is stacked over the front face of the first surface, covering the set of messages on the front face of the first surface. The second surface includes one or more windows that allow selection and display of a subset of the messages available on the first surface as the two surfaces are rotated with respect to each other. In other embodiments, the message board includes additional stacked surfaces that may include messages and/or windows, wherein proper alignment and relative rotation of the plurality of surfaces reveal selected messages distributed over the surfaces.
