The method further includes sending at least one UL activate monitoring command message, by the serving cell (111), to the at least one coordinated cell (112). The method further includes receiving an event A3 measurement report by the serving cell (111), from the at least one coordinated cell (112). The method further includes performing UL CoMP procedure, by the serving cell (111), upon receiving the event A3 measurement report.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of dynamic channel switching in a wireless mesh network that is in conformance with an IEEE 802.11s standard. The method comprises the steps of transmitting a request frame to a node for scanning a channel associated with the node; determining a link quality of the channel; receiving a response frame from the node; and switching to the channel if the switching metric is larger than a switching threshold, wherein if otherwise, remain unswitched. The switching metric integrates the interference, transmission frame size, latency of channel switching and data rate of the node on the channel.

    Abstract: A network management system for the management of remote networks located behind a firewall. A managed device establishes a connection with the firewall. The managed device then generates and transmits a data packet to the firewall. The firewall then redirects the data packet to a controller server. Based on the information contained in the data packet, the controller server will verify the authenticity of the managed device. Based on the outcome of the verification process, the controller server will then carry out the necessary actions.
