  • Publication number: 20210210136
Abstract: A flash controller for managing at least one MLC non-volatile memory module and at least one SLC non-volatile memory module. The flash controller is adapted to determine if a range of addresses listed by an entry and mapped to said at least one MLC non-volatile memory module fails a data integrity test. In the event of such a failure, the controller remaps said entry to an equivalent range of addresses of said at least one SLC non-volatile memory module. The flash controller is further adapted to determine which of the blocks in the MLC and SLC non-volatile memory modules are accessed most frequently and allocating those blocks that receive frequent writes to the SLC non-volatile memory module and those blocks that receive infrequent writes to the MLC non-volatile memory module.

  • Patent number: 11023440
Abstract: A computing resource service provider deploys resources to process input data sets on an ongoing basis and provide requestors with queryable data structures generated from the input data sets over determined, rolling periods of time. In one embodiment, the input data sets are processed using one or more nearest neighbor search algorithms, and the outputs therefrom are represented in data structures which are rotated as newer data structures are subsequently generated. The disclosed systems and techniques improve resource utilization, processing efficiency, query latency, and result consistency relative to known controls for large and/or complex data processing tasks, such as those employed in machine learning techniques.

  • Publication number: 20210156804
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cost effective and single step process for rapid manufacturing of paper-based SERS substrates (100), wherein chitosan is used for direct in situ reduction of the metallic precursor solutions for production of metallic nanoparticles on the substrates. The crucial step in the process involves the incubation of the paper-based substrates under humidifying conditions at an elevated temperature for a predetermined duration. The metal nanoparticles thus produced are homogenously deposited over the paper-based substrate making the paper-based substrate suitable for SERS analysis. The paper-based substrate thus developed is cost-effective, flexible, easy to load and is demonstrated to have exceptional sensitivity with detection limits of up to 1 pM.

  • Patent number: 11012429
Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for remapping connections to tunnels selected based on a security level of the communications. A first network device may be in communication with a second network device via a plurality of communication tunnels. The plurality of communication tunnels may include an encrypted communication tunnel and an unencrypted communication tunnel. The first network device may receive a packet, the packet including header information and a payload. The first network device may determine whether the received packet is encrypted to meet a threshold level of security. The first network device may, responsive to determining that the packet is to meet the threshold level of security, communicate an identifier of the payload and the header information to the second network device via the encrypted communication tunnel, and communicate the payload to the second network device via the unencrypted communication tunnel.

  • Patent number: 10964312
Abstract: Features are disclosed for generating predictive personal natural language processing models based on user-specific profile information. The predictive personal models can provide broader coverage of the various terms, named entities, and/or intents of an utterance by the user than a personal model, while providing better accuracy than a general model. Profile information may be obtained from various data sources. Predictions regarding the content or subject of future user utterances may be made from the profile information. Predictive personal models may be generated based on the predictions. Future user utterances may be processed using the predictive personal models.

  • Patent number: 10772348
Abstract: An apparatus for separating a ribbon of uncooked embossed dough into separated pieces patterned/shaped like the embossed pattern. The apparatus includes a pair of spaced apart rollers for receiving a ribbon of dough there between. One of rollers has a pattern embossed on its surface to emboss the ribbon of dough with the pattern. The surface embossing and the spacing between the rollers maintains the structural integrity of the embossed ribbon of dough. The apparatus has a two spaced apart rotating arms to receive the embossed dough ribbon there between. A plurality of spaced apart fingers extend outward along the length of each of the arms and are configured to tear the dough, without sticking, into dough pieces reflecting shapes embossed in the dough ribbon. The dough pieces can be dried, and patterned shaped pieces are separated out for expansion to three dimensions by cooking.
