The method includes measuring, by a mobile terminal, a signal strength of advertising packets broadcast by an image forming apparatus, determining whether the measured signal strength decreases for at least a preset period of time, and, when the signal strength decreases for at least the preset period of time, transmitting a logout request to the image forming apparatus.

Abstract: Provided is an operating method of an image forming apparatus, the operating method including broadcasting a plurality of packets comprising identification information of the image forming apparatus; receiving a connection request comprising the identification information of the image forming apparatus from a mobile terminal which received some packets from among the plurality of broadcasted packets; and connecting to the mobile terminal, based on the connection request, wherein the connection request is transmitted from the mobile terminal when received signal strengths of the some packets received by the mobile terminal are equal to or greater than a first threshold value. In this regard, the first threshold value may indicate a received signal strength greater than a minimum received signal strength at which communication with the mobile terminal is available.

Abstract: A mobile device includes a communication unit configured to communicate with an image forming apparatus; a display configured to display a screen; a memory configured to store a printing list; and a controller configured to search for an adjacent image forming apparatus through the communication unit, check whether there is content to be printed in the printing list stored in the memory, and control the display to display notification information on the screen based on a result of the checking.

The method includes requesting a remote support service from a terminal or a server connected to the terminal, receiving a request for an access authorization regarding an operation related to the remote support service from the terminal, granting the access authorization to the terminal based on a user input or a pre-set setting, receiving a control command for the remote support service from the terminal, and executing an operation corresponding to the control command according to the access authorization granted to the terminal.
