  • Publication number: 20240116476
Abstract: Techniques are described that facilitate authenticating and verifying pick-ups and deliveries associated with an autonomous vehicle delivery service. In one example embodiment, a method comprises accessing, by a system comprising a processor, authentication information associated with a target physical location, wherein the authentication information comprises network access information for a communication network associated with the target physical location. The method further comprises verifying, by the system, whether a current location of an autonomous vehicle corresponds to the target physical location based on an ability of a communication device of the autonomous vehicle to establish a network connection with the communication network using the network access information.

  • Patent number: 11956546
Abstract: A method for selecting spectator viewpoints in volumetric video presentations of live events includes receiving a plurality of video streams depicting an event occurring in a venue, wherein the plurality of video streams are provided to a processor by a plurality of cameras which are geographically distributed within the venue, identifying an initial position of a target that is present in the venue, based on an analysis of the plurality of video streams, compositing the plurality of video streams to produce a first volumetric video traversal of the live event that follows the target through the venue, predicting a future position of the target in the venue at a future point in time, based in part on a current position of the target, and sending an alert to a display device that is streaming a volumetric video presentation of the event, wherein the alert indicates the future position of the target.

  • Publication number: 20200380786
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that includes a processing system and a memory that stores executable instructions that causes the device to perform operations including acquiring audiovisual data from a plurality of cameras focused on an event; recognizing an object in the audiovisual data; identifying key points on the object; determining a type of analytical information concerning movement of the key points; and providing a point-of-view (PoV) rendering from the audiovisual data to a viewer at a display interface, wherein the PoV rendering includes the analytical information. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10657782
Abstract: A premises security system can leverage cloud-based analytics and captured information about a visitor at the premises to provide security to the premises. The system can include a sensor, an actuator, and a local processing device. The sensor can capture information about a visitor to the premises without requiring the visitor to provide the information. The actuator can perform an action with respect to the premises. The local processing device can communicatively couple to a cloud-based analytics system that can analyze the information with respect to one or more databases that include criminal history information, and return data representing a risk rating for the visitor or a command to perform the action. The local processing device can, in response to receiving the data, output a command to the actuator to perform the action.
