  • Publication number: 20160170185
Abstract: An iris recognition optical system having short total length includes first lens having positive diopter and second lens having negative diopter and axially disposed in alignment with first lens. The first lens includes second reflecting surface located on object side around optical axis, first transmissive surface with concave curvature located on object side around second reflecting surface and exhibiting vertical profile relative to said optical axis, second transmissive surface located on image side around optical axis, and first reflecting surface located on image side around second transmissive surface. As first lens is configured to provide two opposite reflecting surfaces, focal length of system can be greatly shortened, and therefore, the system can be installed in cell phone, smart phone, tablet computer, notebook or any other low-profile mobile electronic device, allowing product user to easily and stably get iris images from a distance of about 300 mm.

  • Patent number: 5920428
Abstract: A real image finder includes an objective lens group, an inverting group and an eyepiece lens group. The objective lens group includes a first lens unit of a negative refractive power, a second lens unit of a positive refractive power, a third lens unit of a positive refractive power, and a first prism of a positive refractive power, where an exit surface of the first prism is convex toward an image. The objective lens group forms an inverted image. The inverting group forms an erect image by inverting the image formed through the objective lens group. The eyepiece lens group magnifies the erect image formed by the inverting group.

  • Patent number: 5731908
Abstract: A photographic lens system, comprising, from an object side, a first lens group having a positive refractive power, and a second lens group having a positive refractive power, wherein the first and the second lens groups comprise at least one cylindrical lens and the photographic lens system satisfies the condition of 1.0<f.sub.1 /f.sub.2 <1.2, where f.sub.1 represents a focal length in the Y direction, and f.sub.2 represents a focal length in the Z direction. The photographic lens system enables an image to be formed at the same position by making the horizontal magnification different from the vertical magnification due to the back focal length in the Y direction being different from that in the Z direction while equating the focal point lengths in the Y and Z directions. The photographic lens system can be used in a high quality camera having a relatively large aperture ratio and a good image forming efficiency.
