Abstract: Pointing device like mouse or joystick comprises camera for capturing the display screen and image processing means for recognizing and tracking the pointing cursor icon or mark from the captured image and producing the pointing signal. The pointing device of present invention can be used with any type of display without and additional tracking means like ultra sonic sensor, infrared sensor or touch sensor. The pointing device of present invention includes mark outputting portion, camera portion for capturing the said mark outputting portion and image processing portion for recognizing the said mark outputting portion from the captured image and producing the pointing signal.

Abstract: Input device of computer using touch switch. Electronic signal flows between touching conducting pads. The microcontroller in main portion detects the said electronic signal and recognizes which pads are touched to generate the input signal. The pad portion may further contain acceleration sensor and in this case the microcontroller recognizes the touching impact strength of pad by analyzing the output of acceleration sensor to generate input signal. The input signal of touching pad and the touching impact strength generated by microcontroller can be transmitted to outer system like PC by communication portion in main portion.

The stick portion may further contain vibration sensor and in this case the microcontroller recognizes the hit impact strength of stick on pad by analyzing the output of vibration sensor to control the volume of sound of drum. The information about playing drum recognized by microcontroller can be transmitted to outer system like PC by communication portion in main portion or used to generate the sound of drum by sound generation portion in main portion and if the communication portion is contained in main portion then the sound generation portion may be omitted.

The pipelined divider can greatly reduce the size of a lookup table with a low cost to overcome the problems involved in the conventional pipelined divider requiring a large lookup table due to its iterative operation type. The pipelined divider has a delay time of 3 cycles in a single precision, and can reduce a chip size by about ? in comparison to the existing pipelined divider.
