  • Patent number: 11374420
Abstract: This invention relates to a control method and system for the charging of a battery of a vehicle. This control method manages a diagnostic device and a battery charger. After a connection step, the control method requests the parameters of the battery of the vehicle, receives them via the intermediary of the diagnostic device and configures the battery charger to charge the battery of the vehicle, the step of configuring comprising a step of establishing a charging model according to the received parameters of the battery of the vehicle. The control method has the ability to charge all the batteries of existing vehicles with the correct charging parameter according to the battery of the vehicle, without loss of time.

  • Patent number: 11303050
Abstract: An electric connection plug (5, 5?, 5?) for an electric cable (3) for use with an electric terminal (20, 21, 20?, 21?) of a battery module (2, 2?). The plug includes a conductive fitting (51, 51?, 51?) engaged with a rotatable wheel (56, 56?, 56?) for selectively rotating the fitting to threadingly mechanically and electrically connect to plug to the battery terminal. The cable mechanically and electrically connects to the plug allowing rotation of the wheel and fitting without rotation of the cable while threadingly engaging and disengaging the plug to the battery terminal.

  • Patent number: 11285829
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (64) for controlling and assisting the charge levelling of a battery module (2), for cooperating with a charge cable (3) and a charge monitoring cable (4) selected such that they are compatible with said battery module. Said device (64) includes means for recognising and identifying said charge cable (3) and said charge monitoring cable (4) in a connection configuration, and means for supplying recognition and identification data; means for storing and querying a library of correspondence and compatibility between said battery modules and said cables (3, 4) compatible with each of said battery modules; comparison means for comparing recognition and identification data supplied by said recognition and identification means with the data stored in said library of correspondence and compatibility, and means for supplying a comparison result; and display and/or notification means activated by said comparison means.

  • Patent number: 10809307
Abstract: Systems and methods for battery testing are described. Some of the methods for battery testing include applying a first load impedance to a battery, applying a second load impedance to a reference voltage source, measuring a voltage between a positive terminal of the battery and a positive terminal of the reference voltage source, wherein a negative terminal of the battery is connected via a conductor to a negative terminal of the reference voltage source, and determining a condition of the battery based on the measured voltage.

  • Patent number: 10207396
Abstract: A multi-functional TPMS sensor fastener torque tool includes a torque driver and a user interface which allows a user to identify the TPMS sensor to be serviced, obtain a recommended fastener torque from a reference torque value database, measure the torque applied to the sensor fastener and alert the user when the reference torque has been reached or exceeded. In one example, the reference TPMS fastener torque values are stored in a memory device in the torque tool which are accessible through a plurality of graphic user interface menus on a display device.
