  • Publication number: 20130345509
Abstract: A system and method for endoscopic measurement and mapping of internal organs, tumors and other objects. The system includes an endoscope with a plurality of light sources and at least one camera; a processor; a memory; and a program stored in the memory. The program, when executed by the processor, carries out steps including projecting light beams from the plurality of light sources so light points associated with the light beams appear on an object; and generating at least one image frame of the object based on the light points. The program, when executed by the processor, can further carry out steps including converging positions of the light points and determining a measurement of the object. The determining step can further include using a “shape from motion” process, a “shape from shading” process, and an inter-frame correspondence process, and can be performed by a third party for a transactional accommodation.

  • Publication number: 20120128422
Abstract: A surface film distribution system for use with a body of water and method thereof is provided. The system includes a surface film positioned on a surface of at least a portion of the body of water. A first fluid conduit opening is positioned in a first location proximate to the surface of the body of water. A second fluid conduit opening is positioned in a second location proximate to the surface of the body of water. At least one fluid conduit connects the first fluid conduit opening and the second fluid conduit opening. A mixture of surface film and water is collected from the body of water, the mixture of surface film and water located in the at least one fluid conduit. A pump is in fluid connection with the at least one fluid conduit.

  • Patent number: 4505795
Abstract: A process and apparatus for the production of compounds from gas mixture by the plasma method, particularly useful for the production of nitric oxides from atmospheric air as a step in producing synthetic nitrogenous fertilizer. According to the novel method, a supersonic speed is imparted to the gaseous medium flowing through the reactor in which an electrical discharge is produced, and at least part of the energy of the gaseous medium exiting from the reactor is converted into electrical energy.

  • Patent number: 4287040
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of nitric oxides, which can be used for the production of nitric acid and for the production of fertilizers based on these, which process for the production of nitric oxides comprises establishing an electrical discharge, passing through the discharge a mixture comprising air and nitric oxide as seeding material, and recovering the produced nitric oxides. The invention further relates to a mobile and easily transportable system for effecting such process, which comprises at least one discharge device, means for supplying air to said discharge, means for supplying electricity and means for introducing nitric oxide as seeding material into the discharge zone.
