For example, a UE may be configured to perform an initial synchronization directly to PSCCH and PSSCH when other synchronization sources, such as GNSS, a base station, and/or SLSS, are unavailable. An example method for wireless communication at a user equipment includes receiving a PSCCH. The example method also includes performing an initial synchronization based on the PSCCH. In some examples, the method may also include receiving a PSSCH, and determining a logical subframe number modulo 10 based on the PSSCH. The logical subframe number modulo 10 may correspond to a sequence seed.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method, apparatus and system for visually comparing a video file against its source as the video file is being re-encoded, for example, into another video format. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a video frame and a corresponding re-encoded video frame are placed into a single wide (combined) video frame to display each image, for example, side-by-side in the same frame. By synchronizing the source video frames with the re-encoded video frames and displaying them on the same wide video frame, differences caused by, for example, the encoding process may be visually determined as the video is being re-encoded into a desired, second video format.

The disparity of the 3D image may be changed on-the-fly to a selected rendering of a particular disparity. The 3D video player may switch among disparities seamlessly during playback.

    Abstract: A permit enforcement system is a computer-implemented system that enforces parking rights within a parking zone. The system may include a processor(s) that allows the system to first capture parked vehicle images within the parking zone during a specified time period. The images are then transmitted to a computing system with a time and date stamp and geographic location. The images are processed to obtain vehicle identifiers. The processor then queries a permit database to compile a list of vehicles permitted to park in the parking zone during the specified time period. This list is compared the vehicle identifiers and the vehicles identifiers which were not authorized to park within the parking zone during the specified time period are identified. These vehicle are then associated with owner information using an outside entity database and vehicle owners are notified of the violations.
