  • Patent number: 11979259
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates to the UE to apply demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling to physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The UE may maintain phase coherence across multiple PUSCH transmissions, to which the DMRS bundling is applied, to enable joint channel estimation across the multiple PUSCH transmissions. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration, uplink control information (UCI) that includes a coherence indication. The UE may multiplex the UCI with a PUSCH transmission of the multiple PUSCH transmissions to which the DMRS bundling is applied. The coherence indication may indicate whether the PUSCH transmission is coherent with one or more other PUSCH transmissions, of the multiple PUSCH transmissions, transmitted by the UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 11974284
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently scheduling downlink data transmissions and flow control feedback for the downlink data transmissions to allow for efficient pipelining at a user equipment (UE). In one aspect, a UE and a base station may follow preconfigured rules for facilitating downlink data transmissions while avoiding confusion (e.g., confusion due to being scheduled to report flow control feedback for downlink data transmissions in a different order from which the downlink data transmissions are received). In another aspect, the UE may be configured to report flow control feedback for a downlink data transmission in a next uplink control channel to avoid confusion (e.g., in the event that the UE misses downlink control information (DCI) used to indicate the timing for reporting flow control feedback for a downlink data transmission).

  • Patent number: 11973546
Abstract: In some access networks, group-based beam reporting configured for a UE may be based on heuristics and/or based on UE implementation, and therefore, may lack adequate information regarding joint channel properties for simultaneous transmission and reception on a channel configured with a base station. Configurations of UEs and base stations are described herein that support various feedback metrics for resource grouping in association with transmission and reception operation modes and/or channel states, such as MIMO schemes, SINRs, channel properties, and the like. Base stations may dynamically indicate metrics to be reported by UEs so that simultaneous transmission and reception may be sufficiently supported.

  • Publication number: 20240137927
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions according to one or more SPS configurations. The UE may generate a set of feedback bits associated with the SPS transmissions, the feedback bits scheduled for transmission in a first set of uplink symbols. The UE may receive control signaling that changes an availability of the first set of uplink symbols for transmission of the set of feedback bits, and then defer transmission of the set of feedback bits to a second set of uplink symbols. The UE may determine whether to transmit at least a portion of the set of feedback bits in the second set of uplink symbols, and may transmit at least the portion of the set of feedback bits in the second set of uplink symbols and communicate in accordance with the determining.

  • Patent number: 11963190
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a control resource set (CORESET) with multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE may determine TCI state configurations for one or more search space sets associated with the CORESET, where different search space sets associated with the CORESET may have different TCI state configurations. The UE may monitor for downlink control information (DCI) messages in physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates of the search space sets according to respective TCI state configurations for the search space sets. Such a configuration may flexibly support a base station transmitting DCI using different TCI state configurations in PDCCH candidates of a single CORESET.
