Abstract: A measurement data synchronization method for synchronizing, through use of a data analysis apparatus, time series outputted from first through fifth measuring instruments, includes a step ST1 for acquiring first through fifth reference data outputted from the first through fifth measuring instruments when a reference signal including a stationary interval and a rising interval is inputted to the measuring instruments simultaneously, steps ST3-ST5 for generating first through fifth filter processed data by applying median filter processing to the first through fifth reference data to extract the median value in a prescribed duration, a step ST6 for calculating first through fifth rising times as timing information of rising from each of the first through fifth filter processed data, and a step ST7 for synchronizing first through fifth measurement data outputted from the measuring instruments on the basis of the first through fifth rising times.

Abstract: A sheet film package includes a tray for storing a stack of sheet films and a flexible cover member peelably attached to the tray in covering relation to a film access opening for shielding the sheet films in the tray from extraneous light. The cover member is folded back on itself at one end of the tray and has an end portion which extends over the other end of the tray and which will be exposed from a loading device when the sheet film package is loaded in the loading device. The sheet film package may have a cushioning member disposed in the tray and composed of hollow air bags of a flexible material for pressing the holding the sheet films in the package member. A film loading device for loading the sheet film package therein include a light-shielding member for preventing extraneous light from entering a loading slot. The loading slot is closed by a pivotally mounted cover with the end portion of the cover member being led out of the loading slot.

Abstract: An apparatus for conveying a sheet member by a conveyor roller having an axis perpendicular to the direction of convey of the sheet member, suitable for use in effecting a sub-scan by an electron beam over the surface of the sheet member. The apparatus has at least one suction roller constituting the conveyor roller and having a hollow cylindrical body and a multiplicity of suction holes formed in the wall of the cylindrical body; and an arrangement for allowing only selected suction holes to be exposed for the suction of the sheet material. The arrangement may include a chamber rotatably receiving the suction roller and communicating with a vacuum source, the chamber having a wall provided therein with at least one elongated slit through which the suction holes in a region parallel to the axis of the suction roller are exposed.
