  • Publication number: 20240032775
Abstract: A mounting device for an elastic tubular member includes a movable sleeve holding member, and arms each of which has one end swingably fixed to the movable sleeve holding member. The other end of each arm has a receiving portion whose state changes between a diameter-reduced state and a diameter-expanded state due to swinging of the arm. The movable sleeve includes a flange portion which constitutes a distal end surface, and includes pushing portions having different heights in a pushing direction. The receiving portions becomes the diameter-reduced state to mount the elastic tubular member on the receiving portions, and the receiving portions becomes the diameter-expanded state to expand the diameter of the elastic tubular member. By moving the movable sleeve after the diameter is expanded, the pushing portions disengage the rubber band from the receiving portions, and the elastic tubular member is mounted to an endoscope insertion portion.

  • Publication number: 20110237888
Abstract: In order to secure a path of insertion for an insertion rod 2 of an endoscope 1 and for transformation from a flexible structure to a rigid structure, a guide tube is constituted by a flexible double tube 13 having flexible inner and outer tubes 11 and 12 which are flexible in bending directions and fitted one on the other to define a hermetically closed space therebetween. Muscle members 14, each composed of a friction strip 15 and attached with a metal wire 16, are provided at predetermined angular positions between the inner and outer tubes. Dislodgements of the muscle members 14 from the respective angular positions are prevented by restraint rings 17. A suction tube 18 of a pump unit 19 is connected to the double tube 13 to evacuate a fluid from the closed space between the inner and outer tubes 11 and 12.

A second link element is disposed at a distal end of the first link element in a longitudinal axis direction, and has a second guide lumen. A control wire is disposed through the first and second guide lumens movably in the longitudinal axis direction. A pivot mechanism couples the first link element to the second link element in a rotatable manner about a pivot axis being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis direction. The control wire through the first and second guide lumens extends in a coplanar manner with the pivot axis and crosswise thereto. Preferably, there is a flexible section having the first and second link elements. A steering unit has third and fourth link elements.
