Abstract: A camera apparatus which makes it possible to perform additional camera control during automatic tracking operation within a range in which the automatic tracking operation can be performed without any trouble. A tracking method-calculating section detects a tracking target through analysis of a picked-up image and calculates first camera control parameters for tracking the tracking target. A camera control request input section obtains second camera control parameters from a camera control request accepted from outside the camera apparatus. A camera control method-calculating section calculates third camera control parameters from the first camera control parameters and the second camera control parameters. Further, a camera control section performs camera control according to the third camera control parameters.

Abstract: An overall in-focus position is calculated based on an in-focus position of each clip image, an image size of each clip image, and an image size of each output image. Focus control for an imaging apparatus is performed based on the calculated overall in-focus position.

A field-of-view range setting request is received from the image receiving apparatus having the field-of-view range setting right and then reflected upon a cut-out position of an image, and a field-of-view selection request is received from an image receiving apparatus not having the field-of-view range setting right, thereby selecting and an image to be distributed to the image receiving apparatus having the field-of-view range setting right as a distribution image to the image receiving apparatus not having the field-of-view range setting right.

Abstract: A mobile terminal, which is capable of communicating with a camera server via a network, has a display unit and a plurality of operating units. Operations for acquiring video and for controlling a camera are assigned to respective ones of the plurality of operating units. Depending upon the operation of the plurality of operating units, processing is executed for acquiring video from the camera server or for instructing the camera server to control the camera.
