  • Publication number: 20220276614
Abstract: A hand display control device includes a processor. The processor causes an oscillation circuit to output a first frequency signal or a second frequency signal to a first processing circuit that executes processing for operating a hand in response to the first frequency signal. The oscillation circuit outputs the first frequency signal or the second frequency signal by switching. The second frequency signal is higher in frequency than the first frequency signal. The processor controls whether to output the second frequency signal to a second processing circuit that performs previously determined certain processing in response to the second frequency signal. The processor controls the switching of the oscillation circuit depending on whether the certain processing is performed. The processor prohibits the first processing circuit from performing a specific operation of the hand while the second processing circuit is performing the certain processing.

  • Patent number: 11327445
Abstract: A rotation detecting apparatus includes a rotating member, detectors regarding a rotating direction of the rotating member, and a predetermined unit. Each detector detects whether a predetermined standard direction is included in detecting ranges different for each rotating member and outputs a result. The predetermined unit combines the detection result output from each detector and extracts an angle range. The predetermined unit specifies the rotating direction of the rotating member based on changes in the angle ranges extracted a plurality of times occurring in the plurality of times. The detecting range corresponding to each of the plurality of detectors is determined to be able to identify relative positions before and after a change from the angle range extracted by the predetermined unit to the angle range that is clockwise or counterclockwise apart a predetermined number or less to the angle range extracted, the predetermined number being two or more.

  • Patent number: 11209777
Abstract: An electronic timepiece includes: a main unit having a reporting unit that reports information to a user; a crown that can be pulled out from and pushed back into a main unit by the user; a sensor that detects a state of the electronic timepiece; and a processor, wherein the processor detects a state of the crown and the state detected by the sensor and switches between a plurality of modes in accordance with the state of the crown, and wherein upon detecting that the crown has been pulled out or pushed back in, the processor causes the electronic timepiece to operate in a state reporting mode in which the reporting unit reports the state detected by the sensor to the user.

  • Patent number: 11175636
Abstract: A satellite radio wave receiving device including: one or more controllers configured to: continually perform calculation of a current location based on radio waves from positioning satellites received by a receiver; determine whether an action state of the satellite radio wave receiving device detected by an action detection sensor has changed to a stop state; in response to determining that the action state of the satellite radio wave receiving device has changed to the stop state, interrupt the calculation of the current location by causing the receiver to interrupt reception of the radio waves; and cause an output device to perform an interruption notification operation for notifying that the calculation of the current location is being interrupted.
