  • Patent number: 10959305
Abstract: A method may include supplying electric power to a first light source and a second light source of at least two light sources by at least one ballast so that the first light source and the second light source emit a first source light and a second source light with a first and second spectral light distribution, respectively. The method further includes superimposing the first and second source light using an optical unit such that the lighting device outputs light with a spectral superposition light distribution. The method further includes detecting the light outputted from the lighting device using a light distribution sensor that provides a sensor signal corresponding to a spectral light distribution of the detected light. The method further includes comparing the sensor signal to a predefined spectral light distribution and adjusting the electric power supplied to the respective light source by the ballast based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 7049769
Abstract: It is intended to be possible to use a respective setting apparatus (E1, E2) to set the color and the brightness of an illumination device separately. Light sources having three different colors are operated for this purpose. Only one first power supply (CON, PWM1) is provided for two colors, whereas the third color is supplied by a second power supply (CON, PWM2). The brightness can be set by altering the power output of the first (CON, PWM1) and the second (CON, PWM2) power supplies at the same time. The color can be set by altering the power output of the second (CON, PWM2) power supply.

  • Publication number: 20050131845
Abstract: It is proposed to identify the component parts of a technical facility in an initialization phase and to record specific data of these component parts with the aid of a databank system. In a prognosis phase, the servicing intervals for the component parts of the technical facility are then calculated on the basis of the specific data of these component parts. Optionally, this is then followed by an analysis phase and an optimization phase. This allows the availability, cost-effectiveness and technically up-to-date state of the technical facility to be improved.

  • Publication number: 20020177982
Abstract: Design by a consumer of a lighting plan for illuminating a space is facilitated. An electronic display is provided of a room showing a plurality of areas thereof. Selection by the consumer of any one from among the plurality of areas is enabled, and then selection by the consumer of any one from among a plurality of lighting arrangements available for illuminating the selected area is enabled. The consumer is enabled to repeat the area selection and lighting arrangement selection for all of the plurality of areas. The room is displayed as illuminated by the combined effect of illuminating all of the plurality of areas with the lighting arrangements respectively selected therefor, so that the overall effect of the combination of lighting arrangements in all the areas of the room is simulated as realistically as possible. The consumer can thus find the best overall lighting plan.
