  • Patent number: 6652146
Abstract: A bearing is to be engaged between two or more machine elements, and includes an endless ball chain, and two offset rows of balls engaged in the endless ball chain, for forming an endless planer structure to resist the forces transmitted between the machine elements. The endless ball chain includes a number of spacers disposed between the balls and each having one or more notches for increasing a deformability of the spacers, and has two side flanges and an intermediate flap. The spacers are solidly formed and disposed between the side flanges and the intermediate flap.

  • Publication number: 20010003854
Abstract: A mini sliding device comprises a track; a sliding member on the track, the sliding member having a loop rail, a central recessed portion, and a pair of opposite recesses at the bottom of either side; a plurality of steel balls between the loop rail and the track for supporting the sliding member on the track; a clip on the central recessed portion; a pair of cycle members for cycling the steel balls around the sliding member, each of the cycle member having a stud on the external side and a projection at the bottom on either side, the projections being inserted into the recesses for securing the cycle members to the sliding member; a substantially n-shaped engagement member having a hole on either vertical side, the studs being inserted into the holes for securing the engagement member to the clip and the cycle members; a pair of dust covers; and a pair of lubricating sponges between the dust covers and the cycle members.

  • Patent number: 5791192
Abstract: A structure of a ball return piece and its process of manufacture, and more importantly to the return piece of the internal circulation type ball screw system. The guide groove of the return piece is formed in the shape of a closed circular pipe to provide a precise pipe diameter for guiding the ball in a gliding fashion past the return piece. The return piece is produced by monoblock casting for ensuring enough strength to endure the strong impact stress upon it generated during the circulation of the balls and for preventing damage to the return piece. Moreover, since the guide groove of the return piece is to be formed in the shape of a closed circular pipe, a precise pipe diameter is required and can be achieved by precision lost wax casting. This provides the ball with stable guidance when passing the return piece.
