  • Publication number: 20230030875
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to photodetector (PD) behavior modeling for process design kit. In some examples, a photodetector behavior model may receive input optical data. Further, the photodetector behavior model may be provided with input values corresponding to input parameters. The photodetector behavior model may identify a set of coefficients from a set of coefficient lookup tables, based on the input values corresponding to input parameters. The photodetector behavior model determines characteristics of one or more model parameters of the photodetector based on the identified set of coefficients. The behavior model determines an output metric indicative of an electrical response of the photodetector, based on the input optical data and the determined characteristics of the one or more model parameters.

  • Patent number: 11425525
Abstract: A platform that facilities preservation of user privacy with respect to location-based applications executing on mobile computing devices is described. The platform registers triggers that are set forth by location-based applications, where a trigger specifies one or more rules and includes a location constraint. The platform causes a sensor on the mobile computing device to output location data, and the platform determines if the trigger has been satisfied by comparing the location constraint with the location data. If the trigger is satisfied, the platform transmits a callback to the application. Accordingly, the application does not receive location data from the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20150040245
Abstract: Described herein are technologies pertaining to protecting user privacy in connection with attribute-based matching services. A user registers with a platform that includes a plurality of non-collaborating partitions, where registration includes transmitting a message to the platform that indicates that the user has one or more attributes corresponding thereto. Through selective encryption and a communications protocol amongst the partitions, none of the partitions are able to ascertain that the user has the attributes. Acting in conjunction, however, the plurality of partitions perform rich attribute-based matching.

  • Publication number: 20100179753
Abstract: Described herein is a system that includes a location determiner component that receives a first geographic location of a personal computing device of a first individual, wherein the first geographic location is indicative of a current geographic location of the first individual. The system also includes an estimator component that receives a second geographic location that is different from the first geographic location. The estimator component determines an estimated time of arrival for the first individual at the second geographic location based at least in part upon the received first geographic location, wherein the estimator component outputs the estimated time of arrival to a second individual.
