  • Patent number: 10826227
Abstract: The connector system of the present invention includes a crimp housing and a floating block. A passage extending in a longitudinal direction is formed in the crimp housing. The floating block is disposed in the passage of the crimp housing and has an interior passage extending in the longitudinal direction for receiving a back post of a connector. The floating block may make limited three-dimensional movements with respect to the crimp housing. The connectors seated in the connector system of the present invention may be independently moved with respect to each other thereby properly aligning with an adapter.

  • Patent number: 10684427
Abstract: The fiber optic adapter of the present invention includes a hollow housing, an arm and a protrusion. The arm is disposed in the housing and one end thereof is coupled to the housing. The protrusion is disposed on the arm for engaging with a protrusion on a fiber optic connector. The protrusion on the arm has a first surface, a second surface, a third surface, a fourth surface, a first side face and a second side face. The first, second, third and fourth surfaces are connected to the first and second side faces. The second surface is located between the first surface and the third surface. The third surface is located between the second surface and the fourth surface. The fourth surface is closer to the junction of the arm and the housing than the third surface. The edges formed between the third surface and the second and fourth surfaces are not sharp. The edges are round edges and have a radius of curvature ranged from 0.1 mm to 0.7 mm. The present invention further provides a fiber optic connector.

  • Patent number: 10502904
Abstract: An optical fiber adapter has a body divided into two accommodation rooms by a partition wall. Two ends of the accommodation room have a first opening and a second opening. Side walls and the partition wall of the body have opposite inner surfaces. A thickened component adjacent to the first opening is formed on the inner surface. An axial guiding portion and a first stopper are formed on the thickened component. A slot is formed on a bottom wall of the body. A second stopper is disposed on the bottom wall in front of the slot. A shutter positioning slot is disposed on a top wall of the body to fix upper movable shutters. Insert slots are formed on a fixing seat to fix lower movable shutters. The fixing seat covers the slot. This optical fiber adapter has shading, dustproof and water-repellent effects.
