  • Patent number: 7768987
Abstract: A frequency resource operating apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving data at a different hopping pattern speed according to a CSI in a BWA communication system are provided. In a method of transmitting and receiving data using CSI in a mobile communication system, a BS sets the CSI of an MS to an initial CSI and sends data to the MS according to the initial CSI. The MS sends a downlink CSI to the BS. The BS groups the MS based on the downlink CSI and sends data to the MS according to a hopping pattern for the group of the MS among hopping patterns preset for predetermined groups.

  • Publication number: 20080248773
Abstract: An apparatus and method for interference cancellation in multiple-antenna communication system is disclosed. Accordingly, a receiver of a multiple-antenna communication system cancels interference by selecting either a multiple-symbol processing scheme or a single-symbol processing scheme depending on a signal type, thereby improving performance of the communication system.

  • Publication number: 20080212530
Abstract: A frequency reuse apparatus and method for a Mobile Station (MS) using a multiple-antenna in a broadband wireless access communication system are provided. The method includes dividing a first frequency band into ‘N’ second frequency bands where ‘N’ equals a number of Base Stations (BSs); dividing each second frequency band into ‘n’ third frequency bands; allocating each of the ‘N’ second frequency bands according to the number of receive antennas; and allocating the third frequency bands to all of the BSs, respectively.
