Publication number: 20240008960Abstract: In this invention one or more intermittent turned/smooth/machined/hybrid sub-collar/s (Rezaa Ring/s) feature/s are added. This can be done around any shape, size or type of dental implant. The sub-collars (Reza Rings) can be added at any point or location below the platform of a dental implant. The purpose is to halt or slow down the progression of peri-implantitis. In addition the prognosis of the infected dental implant is improved due to the presence of this added smooth surface; be it either merely due to the presence of this smooth surface or as the result of treatment in the presence of this smooth surface. Its appearance on a radiograph also serves as a demarcation point for both the clinicians and patients alike.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 1, 2023Publication date: January 11, 2024Inventor: Muhammad Raza

Patent number: 11292333Abstract: A louvered shelf for preventing snow accumulation in an air induction system of a vehicle includes a main body configured to couple to the vehicle proximate the air induction system, a plurality of airflow apertures formed in the main body configured to receive a flow of snow-laden intake air bound for the air induction system, and a plurality of louver assemblies. Each louver assembly is operably associated with one airflow aperture of the plurality of airflow apertures to establish a tortuous path for the snow-laden intake air to travel through the one airflow aperture. Snow particles are separated from the snow-laden intake air due to centrifugal forces generated from travel of the snow laden air through the tortuous path and/or the snow particles striking the louver assemblies.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2019Date of Patent: April 5, 2022Assignee: FCA US LLCInventors: Rohitashwa Kiran, Arturo Guzman-Magana, Mirza Muhammad Raza

Patent number: 11178444Abstract: A roaming video experience, in which users continue watching a content item when moving from viewing device to viewing device is enabled herein via Radio Frequency (RF) enabled remote controls and set top boxes. A device identifier from a first RF-enabled set top box is communicated to an active RF-enabled remote control. When a user signals a second RF-enabled set top box, the viewing session parameter set associated with the active RF-enabled remote control is passed to the second RF-enabled set top box. Using the parameter set, the second set top box is enabled to learn the system settings, user preferences, and content item that were used on the first set top box, and provide a continued viewing experience—the roaming video experience—for the user on an associated viewing device.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2019Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Assignee: COX COMMUNICATIONS, INC.Inventors: Ramkumar Krishnan, Muhammad Raza, Matt Munchinski, Albert Higashi

Publication number: 20200170547Abstract: A device and method for human intention detection Sensor Band (HID). In preferred embodiments, it makes use of an array of force sensing resistors (FSRs) which are embedded inside a flexible band, which is capable of reading the muscle activity for different motion type and muscle forcein a human user. In one implementation of the invention two of such bands are attached to the forearm and the upper arm. From the readings of the sensors, the patterns for motion type and muscle force are then distinguished autonomously by machine learning, a Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, or a neural network. The method is advantageous e.g. the detection of dexterous motion of the arms, upon which assistive exoskeleton can be controlled for motion assistance. The invention can also be applicable to hand gestures recognition and bilateral rehabilitation, besides this the invention can be used to control lower body exoskeleton as well.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2017Publication date: June 4, 2020Inventors: Shaoping Bai, Muhammad Raza Ul Islam
