  • Patent number: 7369018
Abstract: In order to achieve miniaturization without degrading Q of a dielectric filter in the present invention, resonant elements has upper and lower ground electrodes. The upper ground electrode is formed of upper ground electrodes which correspond to wide portions and have no pattern formed on a portion corresponding to narrow portions, and an upper ground electrode which corresponds to the narrow portions and formed higher than the layer of the upper ground electrodes. The lower ground electrode is formed of lower ground electrodes which correspond to the wide portions and have no pattern formed on a portion corresponding to the narrow portions, and a lower ground electrode which corresponds to the narrow portions and formed lower than the layer of the ground electrodes.

  • Patent number: 7151421
Abstract: The present invention provides a coupler having a high degree of coupling. The coupler comprises first and second dielectric substrates each having first and second surfaces which are parallel to each other. A ground conductor is formed on the first surface of the first dielectric substrate, and two coupling line conductors and are formed on the second surface of the second dielectric substrate close to each other so as to be electromagnetically coupled to each other. Via conductors and are filled in through holes passing through the second dielectric substrate, and are placed and connected to the two coupling line conductors so as to enhance the degree of electromagnetic coupling, thereby increasing the opposing areas between the coupling line conductors to increase the capacitance.

  • Patent number: 4872059
Abstract: First and second driving pulses, which are different in shape, are alternately applied to each pixel of a liquid crystal matrix display panel. Each driving pulse comprises a high voltage portion and a low voltage portion. By changing the width of the high voltage portion, a half tone is obtained in a picture. The high voltage portion of the first driving pulse is formed along a leading edge of the pulse, and the high voltage portion of the second driving pulse is formed along a trailing edge of the pulse to offset capacitance noise caused by capacitive connections between data and scanning electrodes of the display panel.
