  • Publication number: 20190039858
Abstract: A condition monitoring system for performing a transformation of mixed elevator data is provided. The condition monitoring system includes a computer sub-system. The computer sub-system includes a memory storing transformation software and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor executes the transformation software to cause the condition monitoring system to acquire quantitative and qualitative information and transform the quantitative and qualitative information to produce transformed information. The processor executes the transformation software to further cause the condition monitoring system to execute analytics on the transformed information and generate predictions based on the analytics of the transformed information.

  • Publication number: 20140378792
Abstract: An anti-fouling sleeve for an endotracheal tube, a method of placement, and the tools for placement. The anti-fouling sleeve occupies the entire length of endotracheal tube, and can be installed permanently or made removable and disposable. The sleeve may be instrumented with sensors and/or a UV light source to reduce and potentially eliminate biofilm formation. Once placed inside the endotracheal tube the sleeve expands to conform to the inner diameter of the tube. After use, any accumulated biofilm on the inner portion of the sleeve is removed leaving the inner portion of the endotracheal tube essentially sterile.

  • Patent number: 8849502
Abstract: A Comprehensive and Retrofittable Occupant Sensor Suite (CROSS) for logging of accurate occupant dynamics during blast events encountered on the battlefield. The CROSS system is low cost, can be retrofit to any vehicle seat, will not restrict soldier mobility, and is highly expandable to include both wired and wireless sensors. The CROSS system reliably measures and sends all data channels to a vehicle data recorder (VDR), and internally stores data (with its own power backup) in case connectivity to the VDR or vehicle power is lost during a blast event. The CROSS system yields critical information for forensics analysis, the modeling of occupant dynamics during blast events, and the design of protective devices.

  • Patent number: 6843295
Abstract: A radial medium truck (RMT) tire has belt or breaker plies which are reinforced by organic reinforcement cords or filaments. In one embodiment, organic monofilaments are used in the belt or breaker plies which have the following characteristics: at least 2,000 denier (2,200 dTex), a tenacity of at least 3.5 g/denier (31 cN/Tex), an initial modulus of at least 30 g/denier (265 cN/Tex) and a shrinkage of at most 6%.

  • Publication number: 20030155059
Abstract: A radial medium radial truck (RMT) tire has belt or breaker plies which are reinforced by organic reinforcement cords or filaments. In the preferred embodiment, organic multifilaments are used in the top belt or breaker plies which have the following characteristics: at least a gauge of 420×2 dTex to about 3300×3 dTex, a tenacity of about 35 cN/Tex to about 200 cN/Tex, an initial modulus of at least 30 g/denier (250 cN/Tex) and a shrinkage of about 0.1-10 %. When an organic polymer reinforcement is used in the top belt or breaker in the belt package of a tire, scrapping of tires during a retreading operation because of corrosion is greatly reduced. In addition, acceptance for retreadability is increased because of reduced top belt or breaker damage, allowing for easier preparation for the retreading. Moreover, the invention relates to an improved construction to reduce defects known as blows.

  • Patent number: 6041839
Abstract: A metallic cord for the reinforcement of elastomers has a 4+3 construction wherein the diameter of each filament ranges from 0.35 to 0.50 mm. The lay length of the four filaments in the core may be infinity. A pneumatic tire has a belt structure of at least two radially overlapped layers of elastomeric materials reinforced with metallic cords, each metallic cord of at least one of the layers being the 4+3 metallic cord.
