  • Patent number: 11451447
Abstract: Techniques for container management and topology visualization are provided. A network topology of a data center is determined, where the network topology includes a plurality of physical servers. A plurality of containers executing in the data center is identified, and for each respective container of the plurality of containers, a respective server from the plurality of physical servers that is executing the respective container is determined. An augmented network topology is generated by correlating the network topology and the determined server executing each container, where the augmented network topology indicates relationships among the plurality of containers and physical resources in the data center.

  • Patent number: 9559919
Abstract: The data ports in a network are displayed in a list in descending order based on either the higher transmit or receive data value of the port. Therefore, the port with the highest of either the transmit or receive data value would be displayed on the top of the list. The port with the second highest of the transmit or receive data value would be displayed second on the list. This process would continue for all data ports that are displayed. The other of the transmit or receive data values of the port would be displayed but would not affect the ordering on the display.

  • Publication number: 20020167538
Abstract: The present invention discloses a computer software system for organizing hierarchical information collections that are like virtual file cabinets. These are similar to physical file cabinets, but have more flexibility in arranging and accessing information. Just like in a physical file cabinet, the information items can be categorized and placed sequentially in an order. But, unlike in the physical cabinet where an item can be categorized and placed with reference to only one attribute of the item, the information items stored in virtual file cabinets can be categorized using several attributes like time, location, people and subjects involved. With a single-click of the computer mouse all the information items can be seen sequentially in the appropriate order of any of the attribute types used for categorization, i.e. the virtual file cabinet serves as several file cabinets each one holding the items according to the order of each of the attributes.
