Abstract: A first-portion acquirer receives a designation of a first portion included in an electronic book from a user. A first-notification transmitter transmits, to another electronic book terminal on which the electronic book is viewable, a first notification that designates the first portion. A second-notification receiver receives a second notification from the other electronic book terminal, when the other electronic book terminal that has received the first notification allows another user to view the first portion designated by the received first notification and transmits the second notification that designates a second portion that is included in the electronic book and is designated by the other user. A display controller allows the user to view the second portion designated by the received second notification. An operation controller ignores, after the first notification is transmitted and until the second notification is received, any operation attempted by the user for viewing the electronic book.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical preparation for percutaneous absorption comprising a drug-impermeable substrate having provided thereon an adhesive layer comprising a drug and a drug dissolution aid, characterized in that said adhesive is composed of a copolymer essentially consisting of 5 to 35 wt % of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and 65 to 95 wt % of an acrylic acid ester, 3 to 30 wt % of a homopolymer of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone is contained in said adhesive layer as the drug dissolution aid, and said drug is a hydrophilic drug having a saturation solubility of 6 to 50 wt % to N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone. Where the hydrophilic drug is Piroxicam, it is preferred to use a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and/or a fatty acid alkylolamide as an absorption enhancer in combination.

The preparation comprises a flexible backing, which is not permeable to an active ingredient, and an adhesive layer formed on the flexible backing, the adhesive layer comprising an adhesive base material and an active ingredient compatible with the adhesive base material, wherein the adhesive base material consists essentially of a copolymer containing 2-ethylhexyl acrylate in a concentration of 45 to 80 mol % and N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone in a concentration of 20 to 55 mol %, and the active ingredient is estradiol and/or the esters thereof which are contained in a concentration of 6 to 25% by weight of the total amount of the adhesive base material and the active ingredient.
