  • WIG
    Publication number: 20170164673
Abstract: In at least a portion of a surrounding region of a wig base 10 attached to a user's head, a pressing member 30 of a predetermined width is fixed to the wig base 10 so as to cover the root of artificial hairs 20a planted to the wig base 10. The artificial hairs 20a pressed by the pressing member 30 in the peripheral portion of the wig protrude outward in the direction in which the wig base 10 extends, and the direction is close to the direction in which own hairs remaining on the head extend. Therefore, the tunnel phenomenon can be prevented, and the artificial hairs 20a suitably harmonize with own hairs.

  • Publication number: 20160015106
Abstract: A hair increasing tool including two large-diameter portions on a line-member having a predetermined length with a certain distance, and tube-members which can be plastically deformed fixed to each of the near locations of the large-diameter portions. A line-member portion between the two large-diameter portions is defined as a plant-area and first false hairs are fixed to plural positions of the plant-area with predetermined interval(s). The tube-members are collapsed to be plastically deformed with the remaining hairs on the head inserted therein, thereby fixing the tube-member to the hairs. The line-member portion is placed along the surface of the head, and the line-member portion is fixed by knotting the hairs located at both sides of the line-member portion together as pinching the line-member portion at a plurality of positions. Accordingly, the hair increasing tool can be fixed to the head with sufficient strength and stability without using adhesive agent.

  • Publication number: 20140202480
Abstract: A wig base of the present invention is at least partially made of net-material, and to periphery of which a strip of net-material is attached. The strip has a quadruple constitution, wherein the net-material of the strip is folded double along a folding line, and side edges of the folded net-material is further folded inwardly. The periphery edge of the wig base is covered by the folded strap. There is kept a first space (X) between the folding line of the strip and the periphery edge of the wig base. Thanks to this constitution, the camouflage effect can be given to boundary line between a user's head and the wig periphery, and the tangle of the wig base at its periphery region can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20140202481
Abstract: A wig base is disclosed, which comprises a first stretchable net-region with a predetermined width, two non-stretchable net-regions connected to lower right and left sides of the first stretchable net-region, and a second stretchable net-region between the two non-stretchable net-regions. An area of a wearer from “hollow of the neck” to “nucha” is covered mainly by the first stretchable net-region. The two non-stretchable net-regions would be at around the “hollow of the neck” of the wearer without deforming itself. Thanks to the second stretchable net-region existing between the between the two non-stretchable net-regions, the distortion of the wig base can be effectively relieved, and thus, higher fitness of the whole wig base can be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20070261708
Abstract: A method of retaining a hair ornament such as a wig to hair comprises the steps of fixing retaining devices for hair ornament (10) to the hair ornament, wherein the retaining device for hair ornament (10) has a squashable tube (11) into which a plurality of hairs are to be inserted, and a net (13) attached with an adhesive tape (12) having adhesive layers (12b, 22b) on the inner surface of said tube (11), inserting a plurality of hairs (101) into the tube (11), and squashing the retaining device for hair ornament (10). Thereby, since the retaining device for hair ornament (10) is tightened to hair (101), as well as the hair (101) is adhered to the net (13) with the adhesive permeated through the mesh of the net (13), so that the hair ornament can be easily and firmly retained on to the hair, and does not easily slip off from the hair.

  • Patent number: 5775341
Abstract: A method for joining hair includes the steps of winding joining hair around and loosely knotting the same to a rod member, which is provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals, withdrawing the joining hair wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, through the loop portion after a strand of natural hair on the scalp of a person's head is inserted into the loop portion, and tightly knotting a knot portion of the joining hair thus withdrawn, by pulling opposite ends of the joining hair so that the joining hair is tied to the natural hair strand at the knot portion. A hair-joining device used in this method comprises a rod member provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, and the rod member having joining hair which is wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals.
