Abstract: An identification card camera system including a data carrier and an arrangement for reproducing on an identification card a portion of the data from the data carrier and the image of a subject, and for reproducing on a photographic record the portion of the data reproduced on the identification card, as well as additional data from the data carrier and an image of the subject. A blip is produced on the photographic record in association with each subject and related data. Additional blips representing the beginning and end of subjects and related data recorded during a supervisory operational period are produced on the photographic record.

Abstract: An identification camera system for producing an identification type card having a composite image of both a subject and a data bearing card and for producing an encoded film record of the identification card includes a first lens for photographing the subject and a second lens for photographing the data card. The light from the subject and the data card is polarized in orthogonal planes and directed by a beam splitter through image analyzers onto mutually exclusive areas of first and second image planes. Abstract: An adapter for operatively coupling a reflex camera having a preprogrammed automatic cycle of operation to an optical instrument such as a microscope or telescope. The adapter includes mechanisms which permit the operator to selectively modify the preprogrammed cycle of operation for the purpose of making extended time exposures or allowing vibrations induced by the movement of a camera reflex member to subside prior to initiating film exposure.
