    Abstract: A weapon system comprises a fuze and a transmitter, said transmitter transmitting an RF coded pulse signal whose pulse repetition frequency presets the time base of the fuze and whose pulse combination code presets the mode of operation of the fuze, the fuze having an RF detector for receiving and detecting said signal, a logic circuit for reading said signal with respect to time base and mode of operation, and a timing circuit for enabling said detection for a predetermined time period at a predetermined time in flight.
