    Abstract: A system and method for auditing medical records to determine the coding accuracy of medical coding professionals. The system assigns an expected coding accuracy level to each medical coding professional, establishes a confidence level and a margin of error for each expected coding accuracy level, determines code populations for each medical coding professional, determines a sample size for each medical coding professional for each code population, randomly retrieves medical records to obtain, for audit, samples of codes assigned by the respective medical coding professionals, determines if the codes obtained from the retrieved medical records were assigned correctly, and calculates an accuracy for each medical coding professional based on the number of correct code assignments by each respective medical coding professional.

    Abstract: A coupling device of synchronous cable for connecting a frequency of an induced voltage generated from a fly back transformer (FBT) is provided. The coupling device includes a metal support 53 formed with an accommodating groove 52 so as to be interposed with a shield metal 51 to a front wall surface of a case 50 of the FBT. Case 50 is provided with a ferrite core 60, and the ferrite core 60 is inserted and supported between the metal support 53. Shield metal 51 of the metal support 53 is connected with a synchronous cable 70 and grounded so as to draw out an induced voltage of the FBT. According to this design, not only a frequency of the induced voltage generated from the FBT is made to be stably drawn out, but also the coupling of the synchronous cable is automated whereby its workability and a productivity are improved.

    Abstract: Thermoplastic elastomers in which low molecular weight ethylene/propylene/nonconjugated diene rubber ("liquid" EPDM rubber) replaces part of the high molecular weight EPDM rubber used in conventional blends exhibit better tension set properties than conventional blends in which liquid EPDM rubber is not used. A masterbatch containing liquid EPDM rubber and phenolic curing resin which is added to a mixture of polyolefin, high molecular weight EPDM rubber, and other ingredients during mixing results in a thermoplastic elastomer having better mechanical properties as well as better tension set properties than blends of conventional materials.
