Abstract: Disclosed is a filling shoe device for passing and dispensing powder into a cavity of a powder compaction apparatus for subsequent compacting of the powder, the filling shoe device comprising a filling shoe, the filling shoe comprises an inlet portion for receiving powder into said filling shoe, an outlet portion forming a powder outlet flow channel having an outlet opening for dispensing powder out of said filling shoe into the cavity in said powder compaction apparatus, a meshwork arranged in the powder flow channel across the outlet opening, and wherein the meshwork is non-movably arranged in the outlet portion and wherein the outlet portion is non-movable relative to the filling shoe device.
