    Abstract: A stretchable tape includes a nonextensible layer having a separation line, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, an extensible layer and an adhesive inhibiting masking between adjacent portions of the extensible layer and adhesive layer to enable relative movement and tape stretchability. The tape is especially useful in the manufacture of diaper tabs. The tape stock and diaper tabs may be manufactured using conventional web processing equipment.
