Abstract: A stagnant-water intercepting device for disposition in earthworks is formed by an intercepting member and two auxiliary intercepting plates. The intercepting member has a semi-cylindrical center portion and two side wing portions. The semi-cylindrical center portion and the side wing portions are integrated into a single body. The two auxiliary intercepting plates are respectively provided with a plurality of spaced holes at their exposed portions and fixedly fitted into respective ones of the side wing portions of the intercepting member. The portions of the intercepting plates fitted into the side wing portions of the intercepting member are each provided with a plurality of holes.

Abstract: A flexible partitioning member for concrete slab is disclosed, and this partitioning member divides the area (where the concrete slab is to be formed) into a plurality of small areas. The conventional partitioning members are made of wooden material, and can be used only for a horizontal concrete slab. The partitioning member according to the present invention is made by extruding a synthetic resin. The partitioning member includes a main body and a cap, and the cap is detached after the curing of the concrete slab. Into the space which is formed by detaching the cap, a sealing material is filled, so that rainwater cannot intrude into the concrete slab. Further, an inclined cutting line is provided, so that an extra portion can be detached, and that the partitioning member in this case can be used in an inclined concrete slab. In this case, the rainwater is better drained.

Abstract: The invention discloses a process for manufacturing yarns from wheat straws. More specifically, the present invention relates to a process for manufacturing yarns from wheat straws, in which wheat straws that are capable of protecting human bodies from harmful spectra such as ultra-violet rays are finely cleaved to prepare yarns in a simple process for making hats, gowns, gloves and the like, so that workers working in the field can be protected from harmful spectra such as ultra-violet rays.
