  • Patent number: 7944903
Abstract: A multi-cell joint-detection method in a time-slotted CDMA system includes: performing a multiple code set channel estimation on received signal data and obtaining channel estimation results of a home cell and of neighboring cells; adjusting the channel estimation results of the home cell and/or neighboring cells or the estimation result of a combined channel response according to a comparative delay difference between signals of users in different cells; and performing a joint-detection according to the estimation result of the combined channel response obtained by adjusting the channel estimation results of the users in different cells or according to the estimation result of the combined channel response. The MAI between neighboring universal-frequency cells having comparative delays and especially large comparative delays is greatly suppressed and the performance of the time-slotted CDMA system when working in neighboring universal-frequency cells is improved.

  • Patent number: 7697569
Abstract: A multi-code-set channel estimation method in a time-slot CDMA system having steps of: A. performing uni-code-set channel estimations and obtaining channel estimation result; B. extracting a maximum interference tap from the channel estimation result; C. reproducing interference components suffered respectively by response signals corresponding respectively to the plurality of code-sets from the maximum interference tap; D. canceling the interference components, and obtaining a pure channel estimation result of a signal corresponding to each code-set; E. determining whether a predetermined number of iterations has been performed, if so, outputting the result of each uni-code-set channel estimation; otherwise, taking the pure channel estimation result of the signal corresponding to each code-set as the channel estimation result of the code-set to be processed in the next iteration, and returning to step B.

  • Publication number: 20080310372
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for estimating DOA of a terminal in multiple co-frequency cells, including the steps of: A. obtaining a channel estimation result of at least one terminal expecting a calculation of DOA in an expecting co-frequency cell; B. performing a Direction-of-Arrival estimation for the expecting terminal in the expecting cell based on the channel estimation result through a DOA estimating method with a wave beam scan, a DOA estimating method with a maximum power path, or a DOA estimating method with a primary eigenvector. With the channel estimations of the multiple cells in the invention, accurate channel estimation results of the respective cells may be provided, from which the channel estimation result of the expecting terminal is selected.

  • Publication number: 20080123611
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multicell joint detection method, it deals against the interference between same frequency neighbouring cell's signals in slotted CDMA system, and provides a joint detection method based on the multicell structure information. The method includes the steps of: using channel estimation of multi-set of codes to obtain channel estimation results of each neighbouring cell; grouping each neighbouring cell's code channel, including grouping based on the code channel's cell, grouping based on the code channnel's power or amplitude intensity, grouping based on the code channel's pertinence, and mixed grouping based on the above methods; making use of the channel estimationation result and the result of code channel grouping to process the joint detection and output the detection data. This method makes full use of the structure information of each multicells signal, and efficiently restrains the multiple-access interference of the same frequency neighbouring cell.
