  • Patent number: 7203270
Abstract: An X-ray computed tomographic apparatus includes a gantry, a reconstructing portion, and a tube current value determining portion. The gantry acquires projection data of an arbitrary range in a body axial direction by continuously moving a tabletop on which a subject is laid down and by continuously rotating an X-ray tube about the subject. The reconstructing portion reconstructs image data from the acquired projection data according to reconstruction processing selected by an operator from plural types of reconstruction processing. The tube current value determining portion determines plural tube current values respectively corresponding to discrete, plural positions within the range, on the basis of the selected type of reconstruction processing and an image quality level specified or selected by the operator.

  • Patent number: 6403607
Abstract: The present invention discloses a sulfonamide derivative represented by the following formula (1): [wherein A represents a nitrogen atom, —CH═, etc.; Z represents an oxygen atom, etc.; Ar1 represents an aryl group, etc.; Ar2 represents an alkyl group, etc.; Ra represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; Rb represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; and Rc represents an alkyl group, etc.], or a salt thereof; and drugs containing the derivative or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. This compound exhibits radical scavenging action, gastric mucous secretion augmenting action, and anti-HP action, and thus is effective as a peptic ulcer therapeutic agent.

  • Patent number: 6212251
Abstract: A helical-scanning type of X-ray CT apparatus includes a dolly 15 and a gantry body 7 mounted on the dolly 15. The dolly 15 is capable of translation relatively to a patient 5 lying on a tabletop 3. An X-ray tube 9 and an X-ray-detector 11 opposing the X-ray tube 9 are rotatably accommodated in the gantry body 7. In operation, the helical scanning operation of the X-ray CT apparatus is carried out by combining the translation of the dolly 15 with the rotation of the X-ray tube 9.

  • Patent number: 5751837
Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided an image data detecting apparatus for X-ray CT comprising a scanning apparatus including an X-ray tube for emitting X-rays while rotating about a patient, a detector for detecting X rays emitted by the X-ray tube and passing through the patient, and a memory unit for storing transmission X-ray data detected by the detector, and a transmitting/receiving unit for transmitting the transmission X-ray data stored in the memory unit together with an identification number for identifying the image data detecting apparatus. The image data detecting apparatus of the present invention can be set solely in an inspection site, thereby making it possible to save the space for inspection.

  • Patent number: 5336897
Abstract: An optical data transmission apparatus which is used to transmit a signal between the rotating portion and fixed portion of an X-ray CT scanner comprises light emitting elements arranged on a side plane of the rotating portion which is perpendicular to a rotation axis and are uniformly driven according to transmission data to emit lights in a direction parallel to the rotation axis. A light receiving element is disposed on the side plane of the fixed portion which faces the light emitting elements. The interval between the light emitting elements is so set that the illumination areas formed by the light emitting elements partly overlap each other on the light receiving element. Therefore, the light receiving element always receives a light or lights from one or two of the light emitting elements during the rotation of the rotating portion and transmission data from all of the light emitting elements can be continuously transmitted to the light receiving element.
